@Mbrimson88 you liked the Soft D 92s?! Had a set and couldn’t stand them, to hard on bad crust and to slow on minimal crust. Seemed like the worst of both in my experience. I’ve got a set I’ll give you if you want to pay shipping from the states.

Ha they are ok at best really, but I like that in the bigger sizes I have, they still work well enough for slippery wood or metal ramps that other wheels just slide out on, so I get what you are saying about them.  They sure do feel so much slower than other normal wheels.

I stocked up and will most likely never even open the last few sets because I don't skate those wheels that much overall, but I have also found they are really good for people who want to learn and work well when beginners or others have a go of my board with those wheels on.

The ones I most commonly use are the 59mm but I also still have 63mm 92 duro and a couple of other versions around 60mm from before they changed up to whatever they had before they stopped doing them.  The smaller ones definitely feel so much slower though.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

With it being winter and work I've only been able to push around on it maybe 3x, but for me being a little thicker than I'd like and middle age its been fun to just goof around on.

Winkowski Volcano
159 Indy hollows (not my fav, but they were on hand)
Bones hard
54mm OJ Key Frames
Bones Reds

Cross posting this from the set up thread, since this is definitely more of a cruiser for me.

I've been wanting a second set up that's somewhere between a cruiser and a "trick" set up and I finally cobbled together the parts!

Heroin 8.9 Fried Egg (thanks to @Gene_Harrogate <3)
Thunders (I found these on my street a few years back lol)
Powell Dragon 56mms
Bones Red
Krooked risers
Shorty's

The wheels, bearings, and hardware I ordered from Cassette Skateshop, shout out @MOE SYZLAK!! I also stole the "fucking emo" sticker idea from someone in this thread. I can't remember who it was, but shout out to that dude! I would never use these fucking awesome stickers otherwise. Excited to take this out after work today and do some slappies!

It might be out on the next catalog drop, but it is a slightly smaller version of a Huffer, from what I recall.

The Genius is 9.18 x 31.5 with a 14.25 WB. Nose looks Hufferish. Tail is more square. Eggy rails. Looks like it would make a sick cruiser.

Its pretty dope, this is the first time we are doing a non-popsicle shape and the board is really versatile and responsive (Im coming from a 9.1 Grimple egg) . The tail is like a mellow wide tail of an 8.5-8.6 and the nose has a pretty good amount of concave. Im pretty stoked on the results

Snapped these just now on a ride to CVS to pick up a prescription - Polar Dane 1 shape (bought thinking I might like it for general skating but I'm too much a product of the 90s/00s to ever vibe with shaped boards I think), Indy Stage 11 149's, OJ Super Juice Mini 55mm, Reds, random hardware, mix of mob clear and jessup with a little paint marker fun - the wheels are great, perfect for Chicago crust and they don't feel so big or awkward that I can't pop onto curbs or even throw down a slappy here and there.

Looks fun! I swear by those wheels because cruising is my way nowadays. I'm running Ace Af1 55s and Mini Super Juices on Dane and Chocolate Couch and their the funnest setups to me.

My current neighborhood cruiser. Almost time to change out due to razor tail, but it’s been a fun ride. Theories Egg shape, old axled V Lights and some SML Coffee Cruisers.

8.3 DOA Flat. As fuck.
Old axle’d 8.5 V Lights
Old 52mm SML Coffee Cruisers

A very fun board to roll around on. Top bushings are gonna blow at any time but whatever. My fault for crankin them down so much, even tho the trucks are still pretty loose. I had a fun curb session the other day on this thing.

Just set this up. Took it out for a few hours yesterday and had a ton of fun.

Cromer egg, 53 Slimeballs, 8.25 broken in  Thunders.
This is actually the 3rd time getting this same shape (I had 2 of the alligator graphic)
Love that teal color on wheels. Gnar on your way.

Got tired of lugging the Orange Eagle and Green Giant up five flights of stairs every time I get to the office, so I went to the opposite end of the spectrum this summer. Bought the deck and trucks last year with some Lil’ Smokies so all the kids can learn to skate at the holiday barbecues. Nice BBS wood (I think this was a II). Not much bigger than the Josh Kalis Alien Workshop decks I skated in my teen years lol.

Classic Eaglet (7.3/12.9 WB)
145 Thunder Lights
56mm Cadillac OG (reissue with the Road Rider style core, real light and skinny for a cruiser wheel)

Been wanting to try shaping my own board for a while now. Got an uncut blank and aimed for something that would fall between a Zig Zagger and Zip Zogger. ~9.75" at the widest point, nose and tail like the Zogger. Happy enough with it for being cut with a jigsaw and orbital sander.

Chrome Paint and yellow on top (pro tip, gloss clear makes chrome spray paint look like gloss silver :/ )

"Final" Setup

9" Thunder standards
1/8" Thunder risers
60mm Slimeballs
Bones Reds

I initially set it up hoping to not need risers, but with the big ass wheels the wheelbite was rough. Already thinking about some 55mm Mini Super Juices... rides good tho.

@MC3

I’ve destroyed many boards trying and to slim down decks with a jig saw.

Really wanted to like my 80HDs but man after 3 or 4 sessions they are nearly toast with one wheel worn way more than the others. And cracks in two wheels where the urethane looks to be splitting. I did spend a couple of hours on a pump track but still...

Anyway, I sent a claim to DLX. We shall see... Curious to try the Sapphires instead.

Yea those wheels are consistently terrible. I’ve had a couple sets and I never learn. Last one the bearing seat was way bigger than the bearings. Got some hot juice 60s and I don’t think I’ll go with a different cruiser wheels.
