i was just wondering if st. louis was any good... i just saw it on the map when i was looking for chicago its the next closest big city. might have to add that to the list as well.

lots of shit to skate in st. louis, i remember a lot of filmworthy spots from when i was out there not too long ago. not much of scene out there that i saw though. i saw a bunch of spots out there that weren't waxed or showed any signs of being skated, and next to no "no skateboarding" signs anywhere. last time i was out there i didn't get to skate much cause of the rain, but i'm hyped to go back this spring.

Patrick Melcher has a part in blackout with a lot of Chicago footage in it.
Kalis has managed to sneak some chicago footy in from time to time.

St. Louis, although filled with fun stuff to skate, isn't nearly as good as Chicago.

i have some old 411s still from when i started skating and there is actually a commercial for "All we got is us". jerret berry was the gay dude right? I always thought he was fake like larry perkins cause it was in big brother. i actualyl have both those issues still.

is the spot where kalis does the ollie up then crooked grind on some black metal stairs in chicago? (with the bug on the lense()

Back on topic, I had a stroll through the mall and stopped by the local West 49. Seems as though The Berrics is part of a huge Holiday Christmas line-up.

Do any non-mall shops even carry The Berrics stuff, or is it all just the Happy Meal stores?

But then I realized that when you make "exclusive products" for just only the mall, they put your product beside stuff like this.... Trust me I saw this.

This is my primary beef with the berrics thing. As a canadian skater who's witnessed local shops being shut down because of the mall chain, its difficult to support anyone who backs west 49.

I have never seen one toronto shop carrying berrics gear. However, Alcatraz (loc. shop) posted some BATB 2 brackets and the next week they shut down.

They had an ad for that video in 411? It always seemed pretty ghetto to me, but rad never the less. Jarret was the gay dude. He did do some pretty gnarly shit back in his day too. I never saw him dressed the way he did until the big brother interview, and I think he was being sarcastic and kinda throwing people's phobias in their faces.
Ollie up crook was NYC I believe, but the bug on lens shot is at a street gap in chicago.

here in Houston people i know get arrested everyday for skating some spot or another, my friend got arrested for skating an abandoned car dealership.

Cindy Mielke worked at the skateshop in my city when they sold snowboards during the 90s and early 200s, she was an epic fail of a person, just a generic robot that tried sooo ahrd to be core, and down. Me and the other shop riders made fun of her until shhhhhe quit.

they started shipping merchandise to shops on the unified list, to me that was the main goal, get money from advertising and give them an outlet to carry merchandise without being total sell outs and turning to zumiez and what not.
