Kinda tempted to get a pair of Sk8-His and cut them down to a roll lower than miss just to test them out

I've actually done that before 7 years back or so. Also peeled out the stock insole and put in a Lunar insole, but the Lunar insole was too thick so my heel was slipping out super bad. I was on a road trip so had to go get some random insoles from a drug store but after that they felt good and I loved skating them.

I googled them and found the actual picture of the ones I skated from my old blog, but funny enough the picture was hosted on Complex's "10 Trends From the ’90s We’re Hoping Make a Comeback".

i did this way back and we too low and couldn't tie them tight enough to stay on my feet. think i cut two rolls down.

Yeah I actually do it pretty often. Most recently a pair of classic Visions, and then just this past summer Jordan 1s. It's really fun.

personally, i don't think it really works for Blazers.
it makes them feel way less secure IMO

The second shoe adidas said that they're only releasing through skate shops, but saw no skate shops at all have them, are they actually dropping now?

Just out of curiosity what is it that you can't stand about Gonz stuff? I definitely feel like he had a run of really annoyingly colored one-off releases with Adidas, but I feel like the Alohas are pretty clean.

That Busenitz looks so good but that sole from Adidas does not work for me. I grind my feet on the grip a fair bit and it wears away so fast.

The sidewalls on those Busentiz Vulc 2s look higher, if that's the case then I might be interested for old time's sake.

The very first Busenitz pro model didn’t have the red on it and it took me a sadly long amount of time to realize that they added it going forward bc it’s a German flag colorway
