I like how those Carroll's look even if they're not true to the OG's (I had the black/blue ones back in the day, loved them). I'm really hoping for a Howard rerelease in the future now. The Manchester's look great. The green Atlantic's look sick. The tobacco Proto's I'm digging too. As well as the vulc orange Proto's. I'm digging a hell of a lot of that whole catalog. And the white/green hat too.

I like the trend of technical skate shoes without gratuitous puff. As much as I can’t stand shoes with no padding.

For me personally the gratuitous puff genuinely feels more comfortable than a modern shaped cuplsole with modern amount of padding. Like New Balance has some great quality cupsoles but Lynx OG and others just feels so much better on my foot.

We are lucky to be in an era now with options for everyone. Let’s enjoy it and hope some new trend doesn’t take over all of skate footwear. I like the diversity right now.

This is a very good point and nicely said. Hadn’t really considered it before but the diversity is really good right now. I have shoes from all categories pretty much and I really like that.

They are pretty different. I would say it looks more like a Accel Slim/ NB 440 Hybrid.

The Dose only has four eyelets, a one piece toe cap, a thin suede tongue, and is generally lower cut with a significantly lower heel collar.

I'm sure the two feel much different on foot.
