You know what’s funny, I see more people riding BMX on regular skatebording shoes than “bmx shoes” (I don’t think I even seen anyone riding in bmx shoes ever, except maybe for some pro bmx’er vans colorway). Scooter kids too, they just wear janoskies. It’s like If you gonna try to market them to that wider “action sports” audience you automatically make them uncool (cough **etnies** cough). Just make them for skaters and then the others will like it too, that’s why Nike got rid of 6.0.
I think to a lot of the population "skate shoes" are just another type
of footwear like boat shoes, running shoes, etc..
I have friends who show me their skate shoes and are surprised when I question why
they would want to walk around in those uncomfortable ass things..
Sorry I got mad off topic.. I would stay far away from any shoe company I found through social media advertising
