Our store just got our One Nine 7 shipment. I got hooked up with a promo pair, so here's some details for those wondering:
For reference, I wear an 8.5 and these fit true to size for sure.
The toe is definitely stubbier than they should be, and that poofy to narrow sillouhette from the top view that was talked about earlier is definitely a thing. I choked my laces down a bit more than I usually do and that controls it a bit. I also have thicc feet so if you don't you may be able to suck them in more comfortably. Here's some top down views:
The toe crease issue is real. If you go to the shop to buy them, it's worth looking through different pairs of the same size to see if you can find one with less crease if that doesn't bum out the employees. Some pairs in my size were definitely worse than others.
From the side they actually look really good, I'm just turned off by the stubby toe looking down. I think they would benefit from slightly thicker laces if you have some.
They're really comfy, but the sole may be the worst grip ever designed for picking up rocks. The snow is just melting here so it's really rocky outside, but this is just from walking out the shop and across the parking lot to the sidewalk to take a pic:
They're not perfect but they're not too bad. Kinda looks like a different shoe wearing a Koston 1 costume, but if you really like the shoe I would say just go for it. They're the best we're gonna get for a long time, maybe ever.
