Yeah I think emerica tm has touched on this already. Jon likes the wino a lot. So it’s more or less a revamped wino but msrp is about the same so you get a better shoe for close to same price. Don’t quote me on that but I think it was something like that. I’m stoked for it to drop.

Yeah revised lacing panels and more ankle padding. Will def be more durable, and especially with the new flick shield. Even though the normal wino G6 seems real durable per the Weartested review i was just checking out for reference: http://www.weartested.com/emerica-wino-g6/

Not necessarily. The insoles in the Ishod Dunk Low Pro and the Dunk High Decon were similar and I couldn’t feel the hexagon pattern at all. Good cushion and nice forefoot flexibility.

Yes you both are correct. It's got some additional features than the Wino G6 two of them being the "Flick Shield" and the other being the desert grip tread.The price is $65 minus the burgundy colorway which features Wolverine pig suede so you're getting a bigger bang for your buck compared to the Wino G6.

Blazer low insole look nothing like that...?

kevin bradley colorway dunk had that hexagon type insole wich is a little thicker than the zoom air insole on the newer dunks. i remember not many of the people on here liked that insole, but i do. still do keep em around to throw in some shoes with a shitty insole and even newer dunks since they run a lil big

I have been curious about the adidas superstars so I searched slap to see if anyone had reviewed. I was disappointed to find this:

just got adidas superstar advs yesterday and after wearing them for work the whole day, i wanted to share my first impressions.

-the materials seem supergood and quite premium

-no extra laces included

-the tongue is padded on some pics online, but this tongue is NOT PADDED. this might be important for some. the stitching makes it seem like there would be something underneath but it's just for decoration.

-this makes the shoe honestly look like shit on your feet. they look totally fine on the shelf but the non padded tongue along with the supertight centering straps makes it push down on your instep like crazy, the panels for lacing up are super big, so even though i couldn't wear any size smaller, since my feet are filling out most of the shoe, it is super flat on your feet and i basically have to rambo lace them so they keep any shape. this in turn makes weird creases in the front.

-i wore them like slip ons for an hour without the laces to wear out the straps. since the tongue has no real structure it made ugly creases.

so these won't look at all like superstars, i will take out the tongue off some old shoes and glue them under this one  for extra padding, i hope this will help the tongues structure and give the shoe a nicer shape when worn. also the creasing of the tongue also happens when laced up, which i found very uncomfortable.

overall i'm pretty disappointed because these shoes look awesome in the web and by themselves but the looks totally fall apart imo when worn due to very bad design decisions about how tongue and lacing interact. or it's made for some kind of very weird footshape. i dunno. just know this and try them on if possible before buying to check the clown shoe factor.

same review to the T I thought about the campus ADV as well. Nice suede soft but the side panels had no structure and creased weird along with the toebox. And no tongue padding either.

I like the campus ADV but I agree to an extent. The tongue is thin but there is at least straps to keep it a little snug. I fucking hate skate shoes with a wondering tongue and feels like every session you have to cut off circulation to your feet from the shoes getting looser from wear

I did see that potpie liked his adidas Pro Models so maybe that is the way to go if I want to skate a shell toe.

Anyone have thoughts to add on the new superstars and pro models? They look great.

i don't like my superstars very much tbh.

i posted this in another thread, but i actually have to put a second tongue underneath the actual (unpadded) tongue because it's flimsly as hell and creases weird. in general the shoe fits very odd, feels like it's too big, as if i have to rambo lace them to keep them on my feet. the sole is pretty comfy in the heel, but feels superthin and unsopportive in the front. the stock insole seems well made but is really thin, isn't rubberized like those older ones.
the leather quality is pretty good, but there are visible glue stains on various spots, like where the shelltoe starts.

also, they look super clowny and somewhat clunky. it's like they tend to clump up where the shell toe is and i've tried various lacing techniques to solve this but they always seem to widen up in the front regardless and then look really silly, creased up and warped. it's kind of like the sidewalls are too big for the size so they hug over my instep regardless, if that makes sense.

i am sure i got the right size. i couldn't go down because then the sides would be too narrow, i couldn't go up because the shoe wouldn't stay at all on my feet anymore. and i don't have the widest feet either.

not sure if i keep em tbh, i've set them aside until i made up my mind before i ruin in the stormy weather.

Same experience with my superstar advs. They just suck. I will say they were pretty grippy, but just so ill-fitting and clunky. I wore mine like 3 times and just donated them after.
