I only remember seeing this blue one, the black with red hints and I think a green one (but might be wrong this was a long time ago). Maybe the next season will bring some lighter colors.
I got told the official release is on 1st of March.

Those Rowleys look to be the "Classics" build with the old flat/wedge Vans insole they have made for decades. The others should have the new Pop Cush if they are from the new season, I would assume, since that was supposed to be a line-wide rollout. But no new tech besides that, right? Only the new rubber on the Rowan, from what I remember?

I saw these in person and was a little disappointed. The sole unit it like a basic Samba with an outsole optimized for skating. Nothing tech under the hood. Visual design is oddly nose heavy.

My guess is they couldn’t anticipate if the shoe would do well or not, so instead of making a ton of them and multiple colorways, they make a small run and see if they do well.

Yes. A couple sessions in so far and I am not impressed. The previous Manchester cups were much better IMO. I want to give them a couple more sessions before I make my final verdict though.

Maybe it’s the XLK sole? Last Lakai cupsole I skated had the XLK cupsole as well, and I didn’t like them. Felt so soft with no support.

I hope the Carroll 1 re-issue doesn’t use those and I don’t think they do, since I want to grab one when they come out.

Damn I don't love the design but I feel like these will be an excellent shoe and in plain black would probably look alright. The Normal Kyle walkers are great and the slip on exp is really good
