Yes, but they also have the blunt foxing tape as the Pro line does. Which means they're using the same sole unit most likely.

Etnies veer slip cupsole with Michelin Sole... looks like a great cupsole slip on option to me.

I like the color way of that Tyshawn but the toe makes it look like a kids shoe. Maybe it’s the white?

Are the Etnies made to skate or chill? It’s hard to go wrong on a slip-on and if they at least added the reinforced toe cap beneath the canvas or suede it should last a good while.

With the michelin sole I think it's for skating, Barney Page has been skating those in some of his IG clips.
Description says "TPU toecap under suede for extra durability" so they should last a bit. Will try those this summer if quarantine is over.

Haha this is accurate. I want a proper cupsole slip on and liked how these looked in some older footage posted in this thread but these pictures look odd and I can’t put my finger on why exactly. Maybe they look better on foot.

Is it the panel on the front? Comparing it to Vans slip-one and these go longer. Maybe if they through some fixing tape on them?

I think its the combination of the toe and the sole. There's too much volume in the toe..usually that's hidden by the foxing tape. The bluntness of the sole makes it look like its made from foam (?)

Also i'm sure if there was an Emerica, State, or Converse logo instead of the Etnies one, appreciations would be quite different.

I think this serves as further proof that the fixing tape makes the difference. Also, I figured they’d do that binding they did on the Janoski. There’s a pair that’s like the laced version but with some strap things

How does Popcush compare to Ultracush? I really want to try Vans again, but the insole is the sole reason I don't wear them anymore. Ultracush hurt my feet and gave me lower back problems because of the lack of support.
