I'd totally get the slips if the toe was just the solid color without the print on it. Oh well, everyone here says the new skate slip-ons fit like shit anyway.

I dunno. I'm skating a pair of the white suede ones right now and to me they fit great even after awhile. Been skating them for 3 weeks, and usually by this point the Slip On Pro would be stretched out and unskateable. Sure the new Skate Slip might be like 10% tighter at the beginning than the Pro and isn't the best for casual wear, but that's the price to pay for ANY skateboard specific slip-on, non-laced shoe to keep it from bagging out to the point of unskateability.

And for the record I have a slightly wider foot. But everyone's feet and preferences are different so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can’t you just make it yourself?   Or is the custom cost prohibitively expensive?

The customs definitely are not cheap.

I found that the deciding factor for whether or not the skate slips will be a good fit is less how wide your foot is (the slips are actually pretty forgiving width wise) but how shallow or thick your foot is. The volume of space between the top of the shoe and the insole is pretty unforgiving.

Im honestly keen for it, the laces might outlast the whole shoe instead of ripping after 1 session. (my main gripe with Superstars)

he left Vans for NikeSB, then left them shortly there after for Adidas

Only issue with these is: its Summer now, not only is it murdered out black but it's also leather, the swamp foot is going to be insane

I don’t think he  ever left for sb he was just getting flowed by both and Nike as we all know wasn’t signing contracts cause covid or whatever that lie is cause we all know skateboarding and all hobbies did their best year ever money wise last year. Wouldn’t be surprised if he immediately dipped to get on Nike though. He skated the dunks in clips way more than the shell toes. It’s pretty clear Kader isnt loyal to any company except baker and he’s already posting stuff like I need more money cause I spent 70k on weed last year .

My friend got those Gonz skate Stan’s a while ago from eBay and they are so ridiculous looking irl. Like a patent leather DC Graffik Court, but sharpied ahaha. I actually love them, but sadly the leather is cracking so he stopped wearing them.

He was wearing Nikes way longer than when he was wearing shell toes, so I can only imagine he got a lot more clips in Nikes and probably still has some that maybe Baker/Shake Junt will use so it wouldnt be a conflict of interest if he is getting on Adidas fully. but it wasnt long ago before he was wearing Adidas so I wouldnt doubt more clips of him wearing them are coming.

I honestly can see him kind of pulling a trainwreck: came into skating out of nowhere, went pro fast, and eventually will just disappear. That or follow in Cyril's path because he is unfortunately no longer in any spotlight as he isnt on Baker or DC anymore, but is doing his own thing. If Kader stays in skating and complains about money, he might just be the next Keelan Dadd except without the case...that we know of.

Anyone know what the deal is with Vans currently? Tried getting some half cabs at the local and they were out. Got desperate and went to the Vans store in the mall, they were out too. Went to the Vans site and they don't have any either. Almost no Berle's, no Crockett mids and next to no AVE's on their site.



EDIT: Looks like they put some more HC's up, they were sold out of almost oversize earlier. Lack of other shoes is still true.

I had a pretty easy time getting those Grosso (rip) skate sk8 mids, surprisingly. I kind of wish they made it harder for me so I'd stop buying shoes that destroy my feet.
