Vans is not gonna put the same insoles they had back in 1999. I guess to be more specific, OG vulc style and colorway. Non-waffle cup.

Just leather on this color instead of the synthetic/Nubuck they had originally.

Got some and am shocked at how uncomfortable they are to wear around. The soles are flat and thin, which may be to the liking of some. At least with flip flops you know what you’re getting into, but they really could have made these so much more comfortable. Only run in whole sizes and going down .5 worked for me.

At least with flip flops you know what you’re getting into, but they really could have made these so much more comfortable. Only run in whole sizes and going down .5 worked for me.

Yea. I don't plan to use these as walk around everywhere shoes. More so, put them on when I get to the beach area. Then take them off and put on shoes when I'm back at the car.

Also, I figured I can also double up as water shoes so I don't have to be walking barefoot on coral.

Yeah good idea to not slice your feet up on coral. Only gripe I have is their Vulc and thats because if you really are using them in the water a lot, idk how well theyll last and how good of a hold the glue will have when in the water a lot. Otherwise they seem solid for water use.

Yeah good idea to not slice your feet up on coral. Only gripe I have is their Vulc and thats because if you really are using them in the water a lot, idk how well theyll last and how good of a hold the glue will have when in the water a lot. Otherwise they seem solid for water use.

I have these and they are definitely not vulc, they are all one-piece injection mold.  Comfortable and soft, no issues with blisters, but these are strictly a poolside or beach chiller.  You don’t want to be wearing them all day.  True to size.

Can second that the quality of these surpassed my expectations. Totally worth the 50.00 dollars if you get them at retail. I get most vans in 10.5 but we t with 11 on these. I have worth them all day with no issues.
