What is the history of the nervous tick pants check in skateboarding.

e.g. the majority of this:

it's when you're sweaty and your knee or upper leg starts to rub on or cling to the pants so you pull it up a little to give your leg more room to move. this is more a problem with heavier fabrics or pants that are very long and stack a lot where the mass at your feet drags the pant down even more than just gravity alone.

Information travels crazy fast now but nothing else is in pace including the cure

I got 5 calls from various Drs counselors etc about my hospital visit yesterday.

I got no appointment tho and have to go to urgent care tomorrow.

Urgent care is a disaster. I kill everyone with kindness and politeness so I get stuff accomplished. I feel bad for the freakouts who get no where and usually get nothing accomplished at all.

Do born again christians celebrate their born again birthdays? If they have a bunch of people born again at the initial ritual at the same time, do those people consider each other born again twin/triplets/multiplets? Are there born agains that consider taking up a different zodiac sign?

Is Reem wearing a Toy Machine shirt in the second to last clip in Trilogy?

My homie swilly dog got saved. He was hell on wheels shooting meth up Danny Fields ass when he was 14 running around the country hustling in the city.

He would be pissed about you suggesting this idol stuff. Swill is  only celebrating the lord everyday. He would make sure that you know what it takes to be saved how to worship proper.
He's down to watch some crazy anime porn or play some banjo from time to time. Then go repent.

Saved is far out stuff to watch.

I would make the assumption it is to protect his tattoos.

I’ve had the idea for awhile of an indoor skatepark that’s essentially a building with a couple of skateable stories. Like imagine buying an abandoned school or something and then renovating it to put ledges, curbs, stairs, rails, wallrides inside it. Each story has a different setup. I mean I think everyone’s had the same idea but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it. Does a park like that exist?

Can being super jacked and having good style coexist in a skater?

That’s a very good question. Depends on how lithe they are plus how loose their clothes are. I don’t think it’s impossible. Just a bit of a mindfuck to think about.

Wondering whether to give away a setup or not. The last two I gave away didn't seem to get used much, and there's also the risk of injury for someone who's rusty.

But then again even if its a board they ride like once a year that's still a smile you can put on their face.

When and why did the nomenclature for manuals seem to suddenly turn into "wheelies"?

Why are clowns always evil nowadays?

It may have started with John Wayne Gacy but I had a clown at my 7 year old party as did many of my friends. In 1984 life was still kind of innocent.

Then...

When I was a kid I prank called a local clown (named Binky).  Binky *69’ed me later on, and I remember my mom answering the phone and telling me “Binky would like to talk to you.”  I had a shot of adrenaline run through me and broke out in a cold sweat.  Binky then told me that I was behaving like a very bad little boy and that I should never do that ever again.

To this day I have never prank called another clown.

In high school I was driving home from a friends house late around midnight. There were barely any cars out and I turned into the left turn lane at a red light and the only other car was going straight on my right. It was some super beat up Honda with spray painted dots all over it and some really poorly spray painted "DOWNTOWN CLOWN" on the bumper. I stopped next to it, looked over, and straight out of a fucking movie, a dude fully in clown makeup at midnight did the slowest neck turn to look at me, and just stared at me. I quickly turned away and the next 5 seconds until the light changed felt like 10 minutes. I'm a little bitch, I know, but fuck clowns. That scared the shit out of me.

Haha holy shit.  I’d have been scared too.  But with the description of the car, it almost sounds like a real-life Homey D. Clown.

Texas passed that heartbeat law on the concept that life starts then, but if Christians were to read their bibles just once they would know that it says life doesn’t start until your first breath. Biblical the “breath of life” is what animates ad’am from mud in genesis  and brings people that were dead back to life  in revelations. A heartbeat can be detected in 6 weeks in which some women still may not even know if they are pregnant but lungs aren’t formed in fetus till about 26 weeks (second trimester) and really the lungs aren’t even breathing air until the baby is actually born. So evangelicals are just attacking women’s rights with absolutely no base other than blatant misogyny.

it must be crazy when chico sells you something and the tables switch from "give me my money chico" to "giving my money to chico"

You should listen to this podcast from NPR on The Evangelical vote. It goes deep into the birth of evangelicalism and how their allegiance to the republican party became so intense. Super interesting because they weren't even that opinionated on abortion and it was used as a political tactic and a narrative to attract more people to their side. Really fascinating info on abortion and the evolution of evangelicals harsh opposition to it.

@RCB3 that was a insightful listen. It’s crazy to think these people actually want to bring upon an apocalypse and we let them make policies regarding our collective futures. Imagine an alternative universe where the evangelicals fully backed carter instead of nixon.

whenever you’re in a bad mood from old lady or some random person and you skate you’re not going have a good session and you’re going to slam. Find something else to do with your time, your body and mind will thank you
