TJ Rogers might be the best looking skater in 2022. He has everything except Venture trucks. Why is that? He has the look. Is on Es. Blind might be kook shit but Venture is all up in the DNA of blind.

I feel like if he rode for cooler shit he'd be up there with Lou and others as a historic top dawg style master.

Neither Lou or TJ can touch PJ tho. I know I be single the praise a lot but I gotta let mother fuckers know. If he was my age. Like 5 -7 years older he would be a legit god.

Elissa is the head god. She is my absolute favorite human on a skateboard.

Funny thing is when I got out of jail I ran into a local who was pro at the time I think. Maybe about to turn pro. I knew his father a little.

I said what ever happened to that kid PJ after Maple or whatever.

Oh he's on ______ and is dating Elissa Steamer.

I felt the jealousy well up in me. I'm like NOOOO! In my mind I think hey I want to date Elissa.

Later I found out he got on Target. I was like damn skating is all the way over.

Idek why I think about this stuff. I was just coming here to talk shit about TJ's poser trucks and talk about how dope the style is.

I hear he's scared of gay people tho. I happen to know that two of the above listed names are both STD (shook ta death) of gays.

Boo! Fuck the industry. Skating isn't even allowed to smd.or sma.

Science is going to kick death from aging right in the balls some day. With a little help from the genetics of lobsters and jellyfish, and gene editing with CRISPR, this future is foreseeable. We’ll all be dead first though.

I've lived a few times. We just repeat the same shit over and over. It's almost impossible to remember that you was here before when you blindly stumble upon a do over.

After I'm like damn. Why do I always forget.

So I've found that it's best just to sit in the corner with your hands over your ears rock back and forth loudly reciting Da Bible and yelling Lenne Kurk is my captain till I feel like doing a trick or playing guitar.

No I know I'm doing it differently. Win win win win ok

Also ponder this. After sex I always say. GD! I need a do over! I tic-tac'd on that last push.

People like to hear that shit.

Or YOoooo! I Need a rematch immediately!

Try it. Everyone wants to be desired

In movies with time travel, when people travel 1,000’s of years back in time, shouldn’t they just immediately get sick from a bunch of old diseases floating around that they have no immunity to?

And wouldn’t they just get everyone else sick with all their modern viruses?

I guess it’d probably just bring the plot to a grinding halt if every character became bedridden after 3 days, but it might be more realistic.

Why did I want to smoke my whole life?

My mom smoked while pregnant so that's probably why. Idk tho. As a kid I tried smoking a few times. By age 7 I was stealing them from my mom. By middle school I was full on daily.

I wish I never went to flavor county.

yeah, i've been addicted since forever, too. my mom smoked for sure while i was in there. my dad also smoked a lot. cold smoke was my favorite smell as a little kid. i had this linus blanket i took with me everywhere whose sole purpose was to catch all the cig smoke so i can sniff on it when i need to sleep until i was 5. i started pretty early for real, too. probably also around middle school(14-15 years old). some of my friends probably started earlier than 10 tho.

How do we get a post apocalyptic movie with a gang of plaza skaters fighting to survive.

Be like hook meets frickin mad max 3 meeting street dreams.

Anyone remember the interview where (I think) Carroll was like Robin Williams smells like a hot hairy bag of D.

Also Frankie Hill is probably the best interview in skating.
The way he sounds and the way he talks is entertaining AF.  He is extremely detailed in his storytelling.

Great interview

Why isn't it normal to have a sink right next to the front door? I get houses in general predate indoor plumbing by hundreds of years but we've had running water for what 100-120 years? Why do I have to walk all the way thru a house to wash my hands? Or to water plants Ive gotta do twenty trips in and out with a jug of water. If I had a tap on the outside and a working sink just on the inside it would all be fine.

Idk. We living In a world where it's illegal to get paid for fucking. And a world where the the most violent people in society get voted in to leadership positions.

Nothing makes sense in this life. People must want to die from gangrene on some far off battlefield. I personally just wanna have a sink in my mud hall.

If we got all the greatest minds on the planet together, gave them unlimited time and resources and had them try to come up with some way to accurately describe colors to someone blind since birth, could they do it?

Could we ever know exactly what a blind person guesses colors look like?  Would they even have the concept of color having never seen one (if you don’t count the ever present black void)?

Haha I actually thought about that movie when I was typing the post.  I haven’t seen it in forever, but I remember it being absolutely gut-wrenching when I watched it as a kid.

If there was a reliable psychological assessment (maybe it does already exist?) to predetermine who's the kind of man capable of doing what that piece of shit did to Anna Kruse and her little boy, how high would be their ratio in the police, the army, in silicon valley, in the Nasdaq Top100?

There's two categories for a Christmas movie. Movies specifically about Christmas and movies set in Christmas time that may or may not be about Christmas.

Says me I guess. Haven't watched die hard in forever but is it an office Christmas party where it takes place? I'd say it's category b set at Christmas and the theme of Christmas is in it but it's not specifically about Christmas like a category A movie.

I mean, who’s to say it’s not an allegory about the Nativity?

-

For people in the US where drug companies are allowed to advertise, what’s with these super vague pharmaceutical commercials where they don’t even say what the fuck it does?

It’ll just be like some lady running through a meadow or some guy reading on his couch and then looking up and smiling and then some voice says “Ask your doctor about Ploxanil” or whatever.  It could literally be about anything.

Growing up, my dad’s laundry room was right at the front door and it had a deep heavy duty plastic sink. Didn’t really appreciate that when I was younger

Why doesn’t professional chess just bite the bullet and adapt with the times?  I think any logical observer can see that the obvious conclusion after millennia of human chess-playing is that the only way we can guarantee against cheating is that:

A) all high level chess must be played naked, and
B) a live, high-definition, picture-in-picture video feed of the inside of both players rectums must always be visible

I think everyone will get used to it after a few months.  We’ll think back to a time when we couldn’t watch a player’s heart beat through the capillaries inside his or her anus and wonder how we ever played chess without it.

And just so we aren’t cruel, we can maybe give them translucent raincoats to wear if it’s especially cold in the building.

Dylan threads got me thinking about what if gravis didn't go out of business and the ripple effect it would of had.
Have to assume if gravis kept going it meant burton didn't shit the bed and analog and Quiksilver would of kept going along with quik shoes Reese Forbes and David Clark and probably expanded that. Alien and habitat wouldn't of gone thru those weird hiccups so that means no GT on AH no doom sayers or quasi. Austyn and Alex Olson probably would of got on gravis maybe Danny Garcia, dela, marius instead of habitat.
Arto and tom k wouldn't have gone to nb and perhaps more importantly no Russell Houghton to get all that shit going.
