Whatever it's intentions may be, this film is massively incoherent despite it's abundant use of images, quotations, and stock footage.  The veracity of  films like the Zeitgeist series have been questioned by many people and have come under serious scrutiny from laymen and academics. Many would not really consider them to be documentaries at all. But if they inspire you, go ahead and enjoy them. However, see for yourself if the  information given checks out even after minimal research.

For example, in that video Kymatica, the narrator tries to tell us that a 'certificate' is by definition a document that certifies the ownership of something (then it goes on about the sinister implications of 'birth certificates'). But after just a quick search I found this definition as well, "a document testifying to the truth of something". That was just using common sense.  Take the information given in these videos with a grain of salt if you must, but like I mentioned before, there are those who would say that these sorts of videos don't really live up to the standards of an actual documentary. Of course that doesn't mean that there isn't any wisdom to be gleaned from watching them.

I agree, these internet-movies aren't documentaries, they can't be categorized. You never know who made them and which interest is behind it and so you have to research the information before you start using it elsewhere. But I think the Zeitgeist-film doesn't really claim to be scientific so often, it just gives you thought-provoking impulses about the general system most of us live in. Plus, there are lies on television as well so you can never trust "documentaries" 100 percent. Just look at those series on TV where they put an iPhone in a microwave and call it "science". In contrast I think these internet movies are immeasurably more valuable.

just realized i fucked up that last post i made in here.
it's half english, half german with english subs.

Watched this a few weeks ago. I'm not ignorant to the issues discussed in it but it was still very informative. Better than all those bullshit conspiracy theories docu's by miles.

His new film had a free showing here yesterday as a part of a documentary festival, was to lazy to go and am now kicking myself.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2125427/

[edit] It seems this guy just worked on "We Feed the World", but he also produced another docu concerned with the food industry a year later with overlapping themes.

A propos Werner Herzog, I watched Cave of Forgotten Dreams yesterday, t'was good.

I also want to see this

Fair enough. And just because people like Alex Jones are sensationalistic and highly eccentric doesn't mean that things such as Eugenics, Social Darwinism, Malthusianism, Edward Bernays etc. aren't real. Those are subjects anyone can look up in the encyclopedia. Some people, however, give in to the fear and paranoia that those like Alex Jones seem to induce.

edit: You know what? Forget it. Post whichever videos you want.  Doesn't matter.

Here, let's see if anybody makes it through this one...

Some great stuff mentioned! Here's a few more...

Big River Man - Fat old drunk Slovenian man is actually the world's greatest long distance swimmer. Goes borderline insane while swimming the Amazon.

Wiebo's War - Leader of small Christian community becomes anarchist bomber when oil companies destroy his way of life.

Bill Cunningham's New York - NY Times photographer bicycle's around NYC for over 50 years capturing street fashion.

Brother's Keeper - Mentally disabled hermit is charged with the murder of his own brother after being set-up by local police.

The Five Obstructions - Lars Von Trier challenges his mentor to remake a short film five times, while following Von Trier's "rules".

Just saw a Werner Herzog (sp?) documentary called "Into the Abyss"

did not like it at fucking all. I'm still disturbed by it. The dude they put to death is so fucking casual and is making jokes and shit a week before he's about to be put to death. Gave me fucking chills. I can just see it in his eyes, this guy is a BAD man. Evil people. Most of the people they interview are nutty as squirrel shit too. Fuck this movie.

It was a fuck up of the legal systems when they extradited him... France declared him legally insane and sent him to Japan, then he was declared sane in Japan but because of lack of paper work or something they couldn't send him to prison... Right?  And yes he should have rotted in prison.
