Shop boards for $23, I think someone mentioned it a while ago but they are BBS.
[close]

Early in covid im pretty sure someone from the shop stated theyre bbs/generator. I had one and it was legit. Might have to get a couple more at 23 a piece. Jesus

dont quote me on this, but i think i recall seeing some of these graphics like 1-2 years ago

the wood is likely stale asf, but who knows, they might be good

Boards shouldn’t go “stale” in 1 to 2 years. People have ridden way older decks with no issue, some people even say they get better with time because it allows the resins to cure. Also, shops will run their graphics for awhile, not just a single drop/season like most board brands do.

I wouldn’t worry about these.

My brother would look for the oldest decks in the shop.  He figured if they weren’t warped yet then they were good quality and wouldn’t warp any time soon.

Yup. Also, I’m sure BBS and PS Stix have decks sitting in their shops for a minute. I don’t they make all of them fresh if they already have the right size. It’s make sense to stack a bunch of them.

A way of determining how recent the boards are on 303's site, select date descending with the sorting option on the website. Or comb their insta account to see when the decks were released. They do different deck/clothing drops just like any other brand, mixed in with their logo decks. And the decks are made by BBS/Generator.

Just got my LB Skate Co decks and they were a mixed bag of Clutch shapes, glad I stuck to just 2 boards.

2 x 8.38, 1 with the ship graphic, one with the car graphic

Ship Graphic
Clutch K8 Graphic
8.38 x 32.125 x 14.25
Standard popsicle shape, steep kicks

Car Graphic
Clutch O8 Graphic
8.38 x 31.6 x 14.25
Square nose with a blunt tail, similar to a Quasi / GX1000, steep kicks

Trying to upload pics but Imgur isn't working for me at the moment.

Bummed on on the car graphic one, both aren't dipped but the blue and yellow look so good. The fat nose would have been a blast to skate too. Clutch makes decent boards only slightly inferior to BBS but I don't think I can ride a 31.6 x 14.25, those are Baker dims.

Yes, it’s BBS wood.  First time I placed a decent order I called them and had a good convo.  There were big on selling quality products.  No just boards but all 303 gear.  The art direction isn’t bad either.   I back it.

Gracias. I did wind up emailing 303 and they gave the same wheelbase as well as full set of dimensions:

31 3/8" L
14 1/4" WB
6 1/4" Nose
6 3/4" Tail

I ordered one.

I got the 8.6 bad brains style graphic. Its clutch but pretty nice woth 14.5 WB. Long but kinda narrow nose. Its fun so far

That would have been good if they had put which shape it was on their listings, but maybe they are more a "mixed bag" than anything else, whatever comes on which ever shape?

If those boards are the same wheelbase, but very different lengths, how much difference is there in kicks too, both kicks shorter on the blunt shape or proportional enough?

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Here are the shapes I got in case anyone was interested.

Edit: The butterfly deck appears slightly more full and the letter stamp looks more like an 'X' than a 'K' but I couldn't find that shape listed on the clutch website.

Funny.  That's a great way to look at it I guess. I've gone through quite a few of them.  Have always skated well. 303 is a pretty reputable shop.

Primitive has some decks that just went on sale. The full blunt nose and tail decks are BBS and the more tapered looking ones will be China. Collab and anime decks are almost always China. Buy them through thedrop.com with 20% off code G6XG4KKM and also get free shipping. Also be aware the mystery decks are all China as well, most likely overstock from when they ordered them for Black Friday.

I say this all the time, but I ordered some Primitive decks and they were all made in China, and they’re all basically my favorite decks I’ve skated in a long time. Also Primitive does a very small wheelbase, which is of interest to the short and stocky among us.
