I got tracking number from FedEx today from my order, and I purchased in the afternoon. At worst, I'll be riding a 144 ti in the back and 149 front.

I'm still somewhat dubious about this and probably will be until I actually receive a box containing a pair of 144 titaniums. I have a tracking # but that doesn't mean that there's actually a package in the mail, just that there was a label made.

Edit: OK it's moving now and the weight looks correct for 2 trucks - 1.8 lbs. Still not going to celebrate until I see them though.

Edit: got 2 pairs of Busenitz on ebay, thanks guys that was a solid find. The shipping overseas was the same for 1 or 2 pairs with my freight forwarder, so I went with 2.

I did, they are pretty tight around the toe box but I'm hoping a shoe-stretcher thingy will help with that.

For the people who ordered through the Busenitz off ebay: have you gotten a tracking number? I haven't seen anything in my inbox after ordering 2 days ago.

If you did free shipping with FedEx Smartpost you have to manually enter it on the FedEx site. Smartpost numbers show up as usps if you just search it with Google because usps handles the final delivery or something but the actual tracking to your nearest hub is still through FedEx.

Yeah I didn't think they'd do that. That's shady amazon seller shit. Usually places that sell singles make it pretty clear they're selling singles, and like I said before I've never seen CCS/Daddies do singles. I guess we'll never really know whether it was a pricing error or they just needed to clear out stock fast or what but I've never really been let down by CCS in 20+ years of ordering from there.

With the dearth of hardgoods from the pandemic I'm not sure if we'll see a multi-week long zumiez liquidation like we did last year (all they've had recently is some darkroom grip marked down from $10 to $5) so I'm glad some people got in on this one.

in my experience, anytime there's been an issue with the bezos store it's been rectified. with ebay and pay pal i've been shafted. as much as i hate concentrated wealth and monopolies, at least skinny sloth doesn't steal my money while he rapes others, i guess.
