I am currently rotating two pair of one star pros: one white pair, one black pair. I can't tell if it is just the rotation or what but it feels like they're lasting forever.

You're right though. I did all black suede and now am on the all while leather one stars. I gave up on the black pair before they gave out on me.
flat spotted 3 times in 2 weeks, other than that awesome wheels

Thanks y'all for the shoe rotation responses.  I don't feel that shamed anymore, but I also am aware I got way too much shit.

Raw Venture Highs 5.2, 5.6 and 5.8 almost half price.

Man something looks soooo cutty about those trucks.  Like they're made out of Quikcrete or some cheap ass small engine motor metal.  It's as if SW bought a box of super cheap "Ventures" off of Amazon.  Also, how tf are they charging nearly $30 for raws.  SW taking this pandemic way outta pocket.

So I got mine.

It doesn't have that prime stamp I was expecting, like the one that says "PRIME" it's just got the top-notch that pretty much everyone does. I looked at some prime blanks on socal's site, and only have the notch, not a stamp as well. It's shipped from a shop called Surf and Skate Warehouse out of Maryland. The board wasn't shrink wrapped, just in a clear polybag with a barcode and SKU that said prime p22 825 blank pink bottom.

I'll update with pics once imgur stops acting up, but it seems fine to me.

I've ordered a prime blank from SoCal in the past, arrived in the same type of bag. Ordered one from the Amazon link too, assumed they're the same shape considering both sites had U5 in the name. Hope it's legit, if not just send er back.

Like I said, it seems incredibly unlikely that someone would make bootleg blank skateboards from woodshop that no one outside of the average Slap obsessive knows a thing about, only to sell them for $35 on Amazon. Seems a lot more likely to be blems or salesman samples.

You just gave me a cool idea. I'll start a company, buy the shittiest Chinese wood, and make "Prime" blanks to sell to slappies. I'll clean up.

Off topic, but does anyone else have a rotation where they switch up to a different pair of shoes daily and seemingly never wear out (as in exhaust/render unusable) their stock?  Fo example, my buddies make fun of my milk carton of 5 pairs I dedicated to this summer I got in my trunk (all nice and white/light colored jawns, while they're still clinging onto the same old dirty ass ripped pair). Might be better off as a new topic.
While I don’t have that many pairs in a steady rotation, I have been going back and fourth skating a pair of 306’s and the flyleather janoskis, but if I’m just going to dick around at the curbs I’ll wear either a regular pair of authentics or the pros. Kinda choose based on how I’m feeling

Anybody else who recently bought from 6pm.com get shipping info yet?  I bought Sunday and haven't seen any change in order status.  First time ordering from them so I don't know, maybe that's normal.

Just got shipping confirmation this morning. It sounds like they move pretty slowly.

Did not realize the Gilbert’s were cups. Wanna pull the trigger but how is the sizing? So far I’ve seen to go half size down

Bakerboys dist has been sourcing completes for Baker and Deathwish from Dwindle, so they are not even the same wood as the pro BBS made decks.

Should still go ok for a basic complete, but hopefully people are ok with Dwindle or other wood.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

And not even the good DSM stuff, probably the PP (birch wood) or hybrid (birch + maple wood) instead of the Resin-7 boards

So these 'Deathwish Trucks' are just Tensors with a Deathwish logo, I take it?
