waiting for those memorial day sales to hit...

Just got a new job and a mid-five figure pay increase and I'm still waiting to see who has got the cheapest pair of anodized Ace AF-1 44s.

I know its early in the game but Union Skate Supply has this going on

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

I have them all laid out and carts full. Bring it!

(Actually I'm only hunting for a few boards to put on ice, maybe some shoes).

Ha yeah.

I just cancelled my "skate card" as I saw a couple of $0.01 tests on it from someone somewhere completely unknown, so new card in ten days and no temptation to get anything without that card right now.

That's a cool idea, so you can see how much you spend on skating? or so you can always afford to skate...? :D

A bit of everything, but really from back in 2000 or so I started doing skate events and lessons for Councils so got set up to run it as a business with a separate bank account and card and never stopped, even while working for other people and places it has come in handy time and time again.

As part of that business, I still run a small skate shop of sorts too, but not a mainstream kind of deal, just a fun space which is part of a private skatepark I help out with.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Evo sales are usually pretty good. Lots of stuff is in store only, but they have plenty of $22 Ace trucks and $45 Half Cabs. Shop decks are (or were) BBS.

In my experience they're true to size width/length wise BUT the Supercush insole is super thick so they're really low volume. They were uncomfortable for me because my foot was pushing up into the top of the shoe. I eventually had to switch out the insoles otherwise I couldn't wear them. However, I have pretty high arches and other people who have them said they broke in eventually.
If you see offensive comments, just let it go into one eye and let it out of the other eye, no tears and not sadness or anger.

They are [vans] TTS. Also, that Daddies code has and probably will be, forever valid.

I'd say TTS but also they fucked up my heels(small cuts) for the first week or so of breaking em in. but once they're broken in, they're great but fuck that shit suxxxx. has this happened to anyone else? might've happened with another pair of eras i bought last year as well

Yep. Took awhile to break in my skate slip ons as well. I think the backs are higher and stiffer than the slip on pros.. But you are right once broken in, they are great. the wife had the same issue. we both got thew same size we use to wear slip-on pros in. i recommend you get your regular size but only wear sparingly until they are broken in.

I have a pair of the Vans Skate Authentic that are giving me the gnarliest blisters on the back of my heels. I feel like throwing them on the fucking roof more than I feel like wearing them.

For those interested in Powell or Santa Cruz reissues, this is most likely the best price you're going to find them at as long as you're fine with blems.
