8.5s are a gateway drug. Once I went up to 8.5 I only  went down to 8.38 a couple times always regretting it.  But now My last 3 boards was 8.8 and 2 8.75s. I feel I need to go back to 8.5 to get certain flip tricks back but damn 8.75 comfy. 8.625 is what I’ll do after the next 8.75 I have on ice. Slowly start sizing down

Nah more like 8.0s, definitely seen a huge shift away from 8.0 boards unless they are kids or ladies with 8.25 being the de factor size for most riders.

But I have also sized up from 8.25 to 8.5 after having an entire stash of 148 / 5.6 / 44 trucks.
