How do you actually go through decks if you don't pop, slide, grind, or anything that would stress the board?
This is a weird hill to die on man, just let the guy buy his cheap gear in peace.

See in real life I wouldn't give a shit if dude was rolling around at the park in whatever he wants, but this is Slap- a pseudo anonymous and normally banter filled message board full of skate nerds that debate truck configurations and argue about Chris Cole. One expects some level of self awareness and openness to fucking around. Karma farming posts about gear that is basically hoarded for no reason are expected to get some riffing, just as I mess with friends who do the same shit.

It borders on harassment. But to answer his question—by weighting 240lbs and constantly flexing my decks. A few of my no comply variations require me to REALLY press my weight down to create tension.

I’ve only been skating for a few years. Surely someone who has been at this since childhood should be smart enough to know that there’s plenty of ways to ruin a deck.

His obsession with me is strange. But it doesn’t bother me anymore.

If you think this is harassment you need to get off the internet lol. This is lightweight banter. You kinda invite it on yourself when you admit to hoarding Pizza and Thank You decks.

Dude the deck will flex but it's not going to just fucking snap on you. There are 400lb dudes on YouTube popping their decks and they break em sometimes, but rolling around will have almost zero impact. You'd have to be jumping up and down on the middle for any actual wear.

He does this all the time, and he thinks just because he changed his username/made a new account we can't tell who it is ;) the patterns are painfully obvious.

This is my 2nd account, last one was focused in 2013 and the name was ButterflyTrampStamp. I'm not sure I actually posted. I thought people had thicker skin on Slap. I tried the ignore feature, but it doesn't seem to actually block any posts and the constant posting in the NB thread makes it 50% useful discussion and 50% someone talking about hoarding more color ways of a shoe.

😂

With the flex, every skater has different tolerances. What's useable to someone else may not be useable for me. I just left some old gear at my local DIY.

Honestly, it sounds like he hates over consumption. Which is fine. Most of us own too much stuff. I've heard dudes say they have 12 pairs of trucks lol. That sounds like hell to me. Sure, my bag of tricks isn't super deep, but they feel better on newer decks 🤷🏿‍♂️

Now in the NB# thread, everyone gets hyped for new colorways. And the only reason I have so many 480s is because I wear the most limited size (14). Plenty of folks have Dm'd me with questions about the shoe, and I'm always glad to help.

I know part of the fun here is being obtuse for no reason, but I usually give straight answers. I spent my youth arguing with console fanboys on GameFaqs. Kinda too old for it now.

damn those last 2 pages are great

i'm tryna see the board breaking no comply variations

also i have a tip for you Ohio Guy: if you're heavier and snap boards from putting pressure on the tail (?) stop buying fucking pizza boards, they're ps stix made, you'll have the same experience with a piece of cardboard soaked in superglue, though even that shit might be stiffer than a "professor" creation.

questing for anyone that has ordered from CCS using the "shop" app, I was going to order an item on through the app and it is showing free shipping with CCS+ but I do not have that membership. Is this something included through the app? Or is it just an error?

(is it shopify the same thing as shop app?).

The membership is something you pay separately for, ($19.99 a year) it gives you free 2 day shipping, not sure what else.

Yeah I get that it's separate at $19.99, but what I am getting at is the free shipping is showing and no charge for the membership itself comes up. I was just wondering what was up with that if anyone has run into this before while using the "shop" app
