I bet seeing Muska stack up all that dough really bummed Steve out.
I think so too!
Muska was an great Skateboarder but he have built up a lifetime Job out of Skateboarding without Skating anymore.
He is still Pro on Element and is making toons of money with Supra... i am fine with that, but his old Team Mates from
the Fullfill the dream times like Turner, Smolik, Nguyen and Snyder are maybe wondering how long you can milk it as
an good businessman.
But for Steve beeing on of the most creative and sick skateboarders of his decade suddenly everything brake down
after the Shortys Days.
I have meet / seen Steve at some Spots, he was a crazy guy from the early begining. Always on the Monk Mission. But one
of the most impressive Skateboarders i have seen skating in person.
And after 10 Years Skateboarding on Professional Level, you become a Part of the Industrie like Rowley/ Jamie Thomas/ Eric Kosten ect. ect. or you get fed up of Professional Skateboarding.
Skateboarding is one of best Thinks in Life - the feeling to ride a board is just great. I still enjoy it any time. But skating on Professional Level to make a living for some Companys also have his dark sides.
