Some of the most fun I've ever had watching basketball, i will never forget watching cp3 beat the spurs on one leg or Blake annhiliating mozgov or deandre murdering Brandon knight on live tv. As much as i love corey and baron, lob city was pure electricity

When did I miss Jamie Gertz from the Lost Boys became a principle owner of the Hawks??    They’re doing a Magic City tribute night so it seems like they’re doing right by the city

Random tangent, but “Paul Griffin Jordan” would be a great name.

It sounds like he won the Pulitzer for best novel in 1972.

This just in, Spurs are not unbeatable, Knicks ended that 11 game winning streak WITH AUTHORITY.

Let’s not get carried away with all this “West is so much better than East” talk, Pistons, Celtics, Knicks and Cavs are looking great right now and compared to Thunder, Spurs, Rockets and Nuggets , 1 through 4 I’m not sure that the East isn’t looking tougher than the West at this point of the season.
It’s close though.

Agreed, that weak east vs strong west is annoying. That said, east has 4 teams while west has 6/7 that are way better than the rest of teams in their respective conference. So coming out at the top in west will be more difficult.

Wolves 8 points up on nuggets currently, those joker-less minutes are killing denver.

Just don't think the spurs got in this year. Wemby will need more playoff experience.

Heat spurs 2014 finals was one of my favorites
08 playoff rondo is up there for me all time

Ok I didn’t mind Wemby’s quote about the Knicks and how they don’t play sophisticated basketball or whatever horseshit that was back when Knicks beat them for the cup championship but now this French dickweed is putting his foot in his mouth again and keep in mind this is  after getting absolutely bodied by the Knicks and by 25 points no less, also NY ended their 11 game winning streak where they looked like basically nobody could fuck with them.

Now this soft stilted baby giraffe looking bag of bones MF is talking shit again, this is immediately following the loss to the Knicks, which I reiterate was humiliating and demoralizing for their entire organization.

"They did put some physicality but not even the most"
"We gave them life"
"We were dominating"
"This is a top seed team, experienced"
"They're a good basketball team...not the nastiest...not an ugly team to watch, but made our game ugly"

We were dominating? Surely he was speaking of the first half of the first quarter when they jumped out to a 19-7 lead, I wouldn’t say they were dominating, I mean the Knicks couldn’t buy a three pointer and the Spurs were hitting theirs but if this kook wants to talk domination let’s talk about immediately after this point of the game when the Knicks went on a 26-2 run to end the first and open the second.
That’s fucking dominance , you poofter.
We gave them life?
No, you douche water drinking cunt, the Knicks took the life right out of your entire squad, literally took whatever the fuck they wanted.

They made our game ugly?
You fucking made it ugly being on the wrong end of a 26-2 run, you dick cheese.
Do you know how bad you have to be playing to get a 26-2 run put on you?
Also you were 1-7 from three and committed 7 turnovers, that’s on you.
Shut up Victoria.

I know he played in the game but did he actually watch it in its entirety?
Did he block out the entire end of the first quarter all the way to the final buzzer?

That was BELT TO ASS as the kids say, and fuck Wemby for not just copping to his team getting whooped on both ends of the court, it happens man, just keep it real and keep the fucking Knicks name outta your mouth unless you have something realistic to say, you barely beat them in San Antonio by the giraffe skin of your teeth and you lost by double digits in the cup final and then got the absolute dogshit beat out of you in MSG where you are now 0-3 in your career.

Sorry for the long rant but Wemby needs to shut up and play because I would hope he’s better than that.

Hopefully he makes a quick recovery because he’s been playing well. Watched the replay and it was just a weird play. Not a Spurs fan but it looked like a clean block.

Dusted the Spurs, easily beat Toronto, baaaaarely lost to Thunder at MSG, had a couple good looks to tie at the end and came up a little short, Denver in altitude is always tough but hopefully the Nugs are tired playing a back to back and then the Lakers in LA on Sunday who they already beat by double digits.

Very tough 5 game stretch indeed but they’re playing great, holding teams to a very reasonable amount and overall playing superbly as of late.

Smacked the Nuggets as well. Really hope they can hold this level into the playoffs.

Yeah  never would have guessed a month ago that the knicks would be on a tear like this!

I like how OG Anunoby plays the game. josh Hart too.

But I sweah to gawd, if we get foul-baiting Shai vs foul-baiting Brunson in the finals, I’m watching Food Network instead.

SMACKED cannot be emphasized enough.
I think 39 points is the worst home loss in Nuggets history or something.

Lakers and Clippers up next, two teams the Knicks have beaten by double digits already , after this they have a fairly easy schedule to close out the season, maybe OKC and Boston (now with Tatum back) are going to be extremely tough but most remaining games are very winnable considering the tear the Knicks have been on (16-5 in their last 21 games).

Chris Paul is such a hard one. Undeniable hall of fame talent. Raises the level of everything around him on the court… but you just know he’s a pain in the ass to be around day to day.

If CP3 had been 6’6” he would be Magic’s skills with Michael Jordan’s personality.

Back to back games are tough on mostly everyone but they porked the pooch extra hard both games, both seemed winnable as they had already beaten each one handily, albeit at MSG.

Road games are a toss up with these guys basically, and shooting the way they did (terrible both games) it’s not surprising they lost the way they did to both Lakers and Clips.

Thank god they have like the 3rd easiest remaining schedule, I’d really like to see them keep the third seed but Cleveland is surging and there’s no way they will catch Boston for second, possibly the Celtics will catch Detroit for top seed.

Boston is a fucking crazy team now Tatum is back, they will be a nightmare to deal with if Knicks face them in the second round, I could see them representing the East in the finals.

The vibes switched up and the team started winning when he hit the bricks, he was washed and horrible for team chemistry and was undercutting the coaches. Sucks that it didn't work for one last ride, but whatever we're in a way better place and the raptors cut him immediately when we traded him over there

Imagine taking 43 shots from the field and 43 from the free throw line in one gane holy fuck, I don’t know if it takes anything away from Bam but that was against the Wizards.

Raptors weren’t anything special back in the 81 game.   That was a game people with season tickets gave their seats to families, friends or assistants

Bam punching in 83 wasn't on my 26 bingo card.... 83 in a pro game is still 83 regardless, but intentionally fouling up 25 late in the game for extra possessions is yeeeesh lol. Cant blame bam tho. Any chance you have at being in the record books you take it imo.

Edit: holy shit 43 FTs is crazy work lmao

It’s true the Raptors record at the time was not good but I looked it up and in the game they were actually up by 14 at half and only down 6 at the end of the third.
I think the Wizards were down 14 at half and then down by 16 at the end of the third.

I don’t know how Kobe only got 20 free throw attempts in that game, he seems like he would be able to get to the line as good as anyone.
