Hybrid is probably the “right” word you use, but definitely a shoe you wouldn’t look at and say “that’s a skate shoe” def had a strap and like a weird hoof thing, was white and pink in some areas but I saw it on the @proskateboardingnews Instagram before being shut down.

They can color block the 2 in a variety ways so it almost looks like a different shoe each time. Never seen or heard anything about a Nyjah shoe with a strap.

the flyleather stuff is only like 20% recycled leather, 80% new leather so they're not really vegan whatsoever. 
These "e-dunks" however do appear to be vegan.  That darker material is actually recycled rubber, not flyleather.

The collar is mad thin and the tongue looks reasonably thick. They should consider adding the geo heel thing Adidas had for heel lock.

If you read the full description in that ig post, it's actually the same padding in the collar, just seam-stitched instead of inverted or whatever (not a tailor so i don't know the proper terms)

I’m on mobile and just looked it up. It’s interesting. I want to see how well they’ll hold up but not many will get skated.

The velour lining doesn’t do much for me and seems like it’d be slippy.  Other than that, a pretty shoe I’m sure I’ll have no chance of acquiring

I didn’t think they were vegan, I was just wondering the stance on recycled leather, but I didn’t know those were the percentages.   Stupid question now hah
