93 soft sliders actually would probably be so so good for my outdoor vehicle. I have a set that I used for a few months that is begging to get set up again.
sucks we cant get those new formulas so soon after them dropping, but honestly 99a is totally fine and still kinda better in some areas. you are definitely trading some things away when you ride new formula (but gaining others).
at least it seems like 99a isnt going anywhere
I was using the 58mm 93a radials for a bit here in Alaska and it definitely dampens rough ground and works really well. I was sad the classic shape stopped at 54 for the 93s, a 56 classic in 93 would be dooooOpe
There were bigger sizes planned in the Classic 93 duro wheels, but I guess everything has been put on hold indefinitely now with whatever is going on. The 58 mm Radials with rounded side walls would be the closest to a nice big wide Classic shape, or even the 56 mm Radials for that matter, just rounded off a little.
Not even going to list all the options that were going to be made for the 93 duro wheels, but others have said a few on here before.
Any which way, I guess there are still some out there, but definitely dwindling numbers, especially in the more well known areas / shops.
For people who don't go through wheels that quickly, it might not be such a big deal, but for others that would have those wheels on their daily rider and replace every month or so, I guess their time on them is very limited unless they have been able to track down a dozen sets or more, just to stock up and keep their current setup rolling.
