I posted a while back that I was getting more into Hardcore and have been lurking ever since, so i figure it's time i contribute something.

Been to a few shows lately, the absolute highlight being this Speed show:
Tickets sold out so quick and the crowd was as hyped as i've ever seen. The rest of the bands on the bill that night i think were recorded by the same channel -  worth a look too

Also got along to an Antagonist A.D show, they were sick but i get the feeling this thread would get around these guys who opened:

Glad concerts are fully back here. Pretty busy month so far, just saw Spy and Sunami last week and Cruelty 2 weeks before.

Wack intro, randomly clicked half way through and heard the shittiest and most generic breakdown ever with the lyrics “suck my dick you’re nothing but a prick”.

Really harshes the mellow when think about the fact that it took not one, not two, not even three, but four or more people to make this and they all sat back afterwards nodding their heads like “yup, this is it. This is good. The world deserves to hear this.”

Just put on the no frills OG Neanderthal from 30 years ago from the same city and forget that other shit ever existed homie.

very seldom in hardcore do I think something sucks, usually just accept it’s a style or band that just isn’t for me.

but this shit sucks, and I like ignorant shit. but this band is corny as all hell.

Admitting I haven't read through this huge thread-- anyone have any recommendations for melodic east coast hardcore that is out now.   When I search for melodic hardcore in various places I'm getting these weird nu-metal bands with synths and screamo style riffs.  Looking for things in the vein of title fight, lifetime, early saves the day, reach the sky, etc., or even strife/integrity style 90s victory metal. Just something new without eyeshadow, synths, death metal imagery etc!  Looking for some hardcore guitar riffs!  Thanks for the recommendations.
