Busenitz vintage
Campus ADV’s
Shintaro Hongo DC Metrics

I haven’t had a pair of cupsole Campus’ since before the launch of this version of Adidas Skateboarding. I’m guessing the last time was around 2006. I loved them then. Not sure why I’ve waited 16 years to get another pair to skate  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Those DCs look really sick. made me go rewatch his wknd part and he was wearing them in a few clips.

The Hongo's look way better in non stock photos. Look less like a toy. I also thought that they didn't have laces, and those were elastic straps.

2x welcome evil twin

Finally found a twin tail with my preferred dimensions for my lanky ass (8.75x32.45x14.75"). Moderately stoked on the graphic too.

Got another Harry Lintell 8.28 to keep on Ice as I’m loving my current set up.

I got a pair of the Spanky shoes for 49 bucks shipped. Putthem on yesterday andthey feel great. Super stiff in the hand but very nice on the feet. Can’t wait to not land anything in them.

Tyshawn Low. After about 10 years of only Lakai's my feet feel like some more support and less floppy sidewalls.

Campus ADV and Samba ADV also look pretty sick. ADV is like some Adidas Cupsole yeah?
[close]

How do you like the Tyshawn’s? I had the first Tyshawn’s and I can’t remember but I think I went a 1/2 size up

The fit on the Tyshawn Lows is pretty good for my weak, skinny feet. True to size 7.5 for me. But I don't like that my ankles sit a bit higher in these, or that they cut the ankle side of the shoe lower for this model. But for chilling they are great. I will check the new Campus ADV out soon.

But it's still, that Lakai's fit me the best. But they are Lakai's

Add me to the list.

As to the shoes, they feel so good I wore them around the house all day yesterday and I'm probably going to wear them again tomorrow.

These shoes are some of the most comfortable I've had in a long time.  I had to get each color, and I hipe they release more.  So far they have been solid to skate in too.

UMA Smith
8.25" x 31.93" / 14.3" WB

Red portions are hand sprayed (but have full dip coverage).

Now to pair up trucks:

149 Indy forged mids/ACE 44 lows/Royals (148/149s)

Is that the same as the DLX 8.25? Looks good on paper. I would put it on Thunders.

Got these for 50 bucks with free shipping on the nike site. I always end up coming back to blazers after skating a shoe that blows out to quick and falls apart so easily. Hyped to skate these again.

I’m fucking embarrassed to say this but I just bought some on Amazon… because they were $34. Only one pair left in my size so I guess that’s why they were so cheap but I could not pass that up. The original shoe was one of my favorite shoes back in the day so I had to do it

How is the toe box on the Spanky KSL G6 shoe? Most Emerica are a bit wide for me there. I prefer a slim and narrow toe box in my skate shoes.

If emericas are wide for you, you'll think these wide. I prefer/need a wide toe box, and while these aren't as wide as I normally want, they squashed out and are pretty roomy. The new Provost look narrow (same pour in g6)

Pretty fucking stoked to set one of these up but probably won't be for a couple more months as the Flight deck has invincible pop

That graphic and shape looks good. I think I missed the memo, that Welcome is on BBS wood now.
Duffel's guest deck also looks nice.

Just pulled the trigger on that label cardiel snuff deck, some ace lows for my main setup and I for some reason ended up with sone Bucky lasek bones wheels because I’m a sucker for the Maryland flag.

Broke my "no new gear" vow because I had to try the Dragons. I live in a rust belt city so crusty and decaying that our bridges keep falling apart, so I'm always interested in soft street wheels. The best ones I've found yet are the NFG 95A crust formula so curious how these compare.

Opted for middle ground with the 54mm v4 shape, though I kinda wish I had gone for the 56mm conical ones now. These are probably a better reference point for me though as I've skated this shape before.

Needed to get free shipping and the Enjoi wrasslin decks were on clearance for $35 so I snagged this one. Jake the Snake taught me a lot of valuable life lessons when I was a kid, and Caswell was always a highlight of the tilt mode and enjoi vids for me so it made sense at the time.

Dims are 8.25" x 31.9" 14.25" wb
Mellow concave/steep kick.

I bought this thinking I was going to put it on the wall some day but I kinda like the look of it. It's a little longer than my ideal, but should be doable. I like the taper and really like how flat the concave is, and the nose looks very skateable. The tail is slightly terrifying though. Shits long and steep as fuck, it almost looks like a twin nose shape or something. If they just mellowed that tail out and shaved like an 1/8th of an inch off it I would probably be in love with this shape. Madness has a square one with the right dimensions that I love but it's med/med and a kinda spoony mold so I would prefer this one with those dims. I really wish dwindle would start making mellow concave/medium kick decks over 7.5" again.

Anyways not sure if I'm gonna set it up or not. Gonna compare that tail with some of my steeper setups and see how I feel about it. My madness isn't completely gone because my first instinct was "oh this would be perfect for the new ace low 44" but I really don't want to buy another set of trucks. Anyone got a set you want to trade for indys/thunders/ventures/films etc?

The stickers are all an unexpected gift from the homie, got some really cool bronze 56k and side effect ones in there.
