measured a few of the “anchor” shape decks
and the length is closer to 32.4 or 32” 3/8
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

There is a bit of info through the thread, under ANCHOR but this was a post from a while back, before I got my hands on one.

I would say it is fairly consistent to these dimensions, much like my usual BBS 8.5 x 32.3 / 32.4 boards only in 9 with very slightly different dimensions, when I put them up to bolts to check.  It just looks stubby due to the width, but it skates fine, maybe a lot easier than the usual orange eagle which is 9 x 33 with 15 wb.

.

Sold out very quickly from some places, but at least this link has all dimensions still:

https://www.tactics.com/krooked/gonz-your-good-902-anchor-shape-skateboard-deck

SPECS
SIZE   9.02
WIDTH (IN):   9.02
LENGTH (IN):   32.2
WHEELBASE (IN):   14.34
NOSE LENGTH (IN):   7.0
TAIL LENGTH (IN):   6.75

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

I think they are just made on the same twin molds as the Ishod and other DLX twin boards, so I guess going by I through to IV stamp, they would be between 22 - 24 degrees nose and 21 - 23 degrees tails.

Not to say, heres a bunch of Ishod boards, look at them, but at least SW does have the side view of every option, not just generic pics.

https://www.skatewarehouse.com/search-skate.html?start=0&count=200&searchtext=ishod

The Tactics site has the boards but not the pics yet, but once the pics are up, that would be the best option, as they have all the views on there:

https://www.tactics.com/search/hause

Their Ishod board pics are maybe generic from one of them, but maybe also a good view:

https://www.tactics.com/real/ishod-jeweler-80-twin-tail-shape-skateboard-deck/red

* Here is the cut out image from SW, turned to sit flat instead of vertical:

Cool, 510 is responsive. Been buying boards there when my local hybrid shop doesn't have what i need.

Currently at work / on phone, so will respond more later. But for now, I know DLX (usually AH) makes an 8.75/14.25/31.75 deck…but if memory serves correct, more rounded than pointy kicks.

It is the white Eagle, they're sick. I had one last summer with 159s

white eagles look sick (i’ve never skated one), but that is something different. that is true big board stuff.

at the beginning of covid i saw a large/tall youth on one, 159s or 169s, and it looked cool, very stable.
me being from the edge of the shire, pretty sure it’d look like a snowboard.

I say this is a lot, but the 8.75 Black Label (w/14.5 WB, and slightly shorter overall length), has lots of stability, but is more agile than the DLX 8.75/14.62. It's a *killer* deck if are moving towards bigger decks, but don't want all the heft.

Not the white eagle. It's a secondary 8.75, I had a grimple version last year. Lately they've been doing it for *some* of Doobie's pro graphics. Pretty compact and really full kicks, I liked it a lot.

Thanks, it's a pretty big difference in the feeling IME. And would be strange "policy" as usually he seems to ride the longer wb white eagle..

This one has a longer wb as well:

Watching Doobie skating the White Eagle in person is impressive to say the least. He's a big dude and goes so f*cking hard. The board looks perfect under him.

.

For the most part, DLX cycles through different shapes for their riders just to give everyone a go at said pro boards, which is more often than not, very different to the board shapes they actually ride.

Given they have so many shapes, sometimes mixing it up a bit means with the different shapes to different riders names, someone from the general public can get a board from their favourite pro now and then in a size or shape they like.

I had heard other people talk about board shapes, preferences and overall sales, but I don't think DLX does this as much as some other companies, where who ever gets the 8.25 or 8.5 usually makes the most board sales that drop.

The only times I have NOT seen a board from certain or specific DLX riders is if there was something going on with them, a legal issue or something else, so that person didn't get a board in a normal drop at all, which is fair enough.

* Sorry that might sound rather cryptic but we really don't need to bring up the past issues.

** Doobie always seems to be on the bigger 8.75, same shape as the white eagle, but I don't follow him enough to really check in depth, or know if he does ride other shapes, or just prefers that one.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

I'm holding off DBX until there are wider versions. Ideally (for me) the 8.62, 8.75 or Huffer (very unlikely)... I find wider boards can mush out quicker... ask BA... while we are at it, how about a DBX on BA's 8.88"?
[close]
who outside of BA is riding the 8.88 shape?
i swear i have only seen two in two different shops
and only posted here once in the set up thread
I thought about it cause I’m on the orange eagle now, and like that the 8.8 is basically the same just slightly smaller. But the limited nature makes me hesitant to grab one. Would hate to fall in love with a shape only to never be able to buy it again lol
