first session in the 440 High last night, and they felt perfect.  perfectly soft where I want them to be soft, thin where I want them to be thin, support where I want support, great heel lock, and best part of any high is that they are very comfortable wrapped around your ankles.  love em.

thanks @IusedToSkateMore for the trade
[close]

I bought 4 pairs of those things and hope they keep them in regular seasonal rotation. They basically solve the recent dunk hi cost-prohibitive factor.

440 is a good dunk replacement you say? The 1010 is such a great shoe, but I’ll have to try the 440

They’re good enough for me to flip the brand new Baroque dunks and Orange Label dunks I had on ice for cash.

the 508s were... disappointing. the shitty abzorb insole with how crazy low the heel support on them was made these shoes really disappointing based on all the good things i've heard about them.

I personally think these are way better than the 508 and hopefully that is why they're bringing it back now.

Grabbed a pair of these and the new grey colorway of the Tiago (two posts up), today. Neither shoe is what I would typically wear but god damn did NB nail it with the comfort factor on both shoes. Will probably end up skating the 913 later down the road, but both are chillers for now. Think it's been mentioned here (and I rarely ever do this, I'm a tried and true 12 in almost every shoe) but half size down on the 1010's. Will definitely be copping more in the future.

Edit: Figured I'd add that I'm currently skating the 440 lows and loving them. Nice, minimal cup sole.

Thats how I felt about my 440 lows. Honestly makes it hard to go back to vulcs. My local just got a NB# account and Im stoked to get to try some on/buy some from them
Every time the McRib comes out I buy it. I don't even like the damn things.

Agreed. Who thought that Tiffany eyelet was a good match for the main colours?

What are some colours yall would like to see? I'd love a chocolate brown suede with black or gum sole, red eyelet, minimal black detailing. Also suede on top of the toe, not mesh.
If you see offensive comments, just let it go into one eye and let it out of the other eye, no tears and not sadness or anger.

I just wanna see these over and over again lol

But it would also be sick to have a black on black colorway with red eyelets and hits. I also really love the idea of this color scheme translated onto a 1010

That colorway on a Tiago would be an insta buy and I’ve never even had a pair

nm272's posted in recent/upcoming look rad, but they're more expensive than nm440's. What's the deal?

My nm255's are beautiful to skate in but seem to be disintegrating faster than normal- what do 17 more nm's get me that I wouldn't get from 306?

Seems to be a scaling problem with nm's if you ask me...

To each their own, they're my favorite shoes in years, since DC Mikey Taylor shoe. So much so that I just ordered another pair. I found the burgundy ones for 30% off.

Shorts only for these summer months, but cargos are definitely the look. Would look a bit off with slim jeans I imagine.

I like em best with a baggy dark wash denim. Beef and broccolis + baggy black jeans has been my favorite, just like the man wears em

Super impressed with the white and gum 1010s. Very solid and sturdy with nice materials and not as bulky as I thought. They fit pretty TTS for me too which I want expecting. Same size I as a dunk. I have a feeling there will be more in my future.

How do these tend to fit?

I'm technically an actual 11. On the narrow side. But as is typical wear 11.5 in a lot of athletic shoes. Currently wearing nike sb team classics in 11.5 and they're perfect. My local shop no longer carries NB and I want to snag a sale shoe online but am not sure

Whats the word on the NM213 in terms of size? White with a touch of mint looks too good to pass on, wanted to get a pair for me and the misses who just started skateboarding but shopping for women's skate shoes is tough, anything smaller than men's size 7 is tough to find.
