Are the 379 mid’s going to remain in the line up?if so how soon will there be new color ways available?
We have a few 379 mids coming, including a dope white suede/black taping i think this season. It won’t be in the line every season, but will probably bring it in once or twice a year.

Yeah, it should be released now, we just experienced some shipping delays because of Covid. This season is starting to hit shops and the NB site over the next week.

Great shoes. They looked heavy and bulky but quite the opposite.

The uppers lasted a long time.

Wow should have got one while it was still in production. What's the next closest shoe that NB has? Or any other brand, since NB isn't as readily available in my region.

I would suggest a pair of 913s if you can find them. Tiagos seem great if you wanna go full tech cupsole. 440 if you want something lower profile

The 913 looks so good but oh so expensive, guess I'll lurk the Sales thread to score a good deal.

Are the TTS? I do 9.5 on DC shoes.

Kinda random, somewhat off topic but I have a pair of white leather x90 running shoes that I sometimes skate if I'm sore and plan on keeping it super mellow (slappies and a few kickflips).

Sock liner style fit and wide ish sole makes it quite stable for how soft and cushy the sole is. The pointy runner toe flicks great, all my straight kickflips are as good in them as they are any skate shoe.

I'm sure 990s, 574s, 420s and some other models would be just as good if not maybe better.

I'm a true 13 in every Nike I've ever tried. Got a pair of DC Williams slim in 13 and its a little tight on the toe, could have probably gone 13.5 in those if they existed.

For new balance, I've had x90 runners, 533v2 PJs, 440s and 913s. All of them were 13 and fit great, except the PJs were definitely a bit tight the first week but was just fine after they stretched out a bit.

I do have some small gripes about the 913 though, the tpu lace cage definitely protects the laces and keeps your foot in place, but I can sometimes feel it slightly digging in my foot when I bend down just above my toes which I don't like. Just barely though I doubt most people notice and I've never heard anyone else complain about it.

I also don't like shoes that have flex grooves in the tread, I feel like flex grooves kinda force the shoe to flex where the grooves are instead of the exact spot that they would otherwise flex in if you broke them in naturally. Never ever heard anyone else complain about this though so its probably just me.

Besides these two very minor gripes (which I'm sure nobody else cares about), they're a very very very good shoe.

I think they are. I tried on an 11.5 one time (under the impression NB shoes were all 0.5 small since they kind of were at some point. Still are on most models for me.) and they were slightly too big. I'm an 11 in Van's, Nike, Lakai, and Adidas, and an 11 fit me normal/comfortably.

The Point Skate shop had s couple sizes on sale. Around $50 I think?

Yeah when I bought my first pair I was expecting it to be huge, but they’re pretty slim. One pair typically lasts me 2-3 months (skating 3hrs a week on average). For me it’s the perfect shoe, which is why I bought so many haha.

So I can’t speak to the 913 as I’ve never tried them on, but I know for the 1010’s and 440’s are TTS. I know specifically for the 868’s (possibly all NB#?) they were a .5 size small for a bit but fixed it in like 2018ish i think. For example in the Pic i posted the Maroon, blk/wht/red and navy/grey are 9’s where as the rest are 8.5 which is what size I wear. Hope that helps.

Edit: found a pair of 913 going at $50, thought it would be worth a try. Thanks for the recommendation!

A very high percentage of women’s first tattoos involve something with that same underlying meaning
