I'll be getting Samrria's shoe for sure. I can't personally pull off white shoes but whatever...

These look great in the pictures, def copping a pair.

My local just got a restock of a few of the og black suede so I grabbed a pair. Finding they're comfier on my wide foot than the brown/green just because of the mesh on top of the toebox instead of suede, so these white/gum ought to be the same.

Never worn New Balances but thinking of copping a pair of the 306l's.

I wear an 11 in Vans, should I order an 11 in NBs? Unfortunately have to do mailorder.

For NB, I think it really depends on the exact shoe model. For the 306s, I went TTS like I do for Vans, and they fit great.

I am a 9.5 in Vans. I had to go up to a 10 in the 306 as well as the 255.
How much for an order of ribs?

Those black/tan 440hi's are what I've been waiting for. I fit perfect in a s11 SB Dunk High, but the previous page has me nervous about ordering tts. Guess I'll have to see if my local gets them within the next couple of weeks.

Any reviews (or what page of this thread should I be on) of the 1010? Pondering trying these out. Never had NB before. Sizing? Good? Bad?

very good, might wanna size half a size up, though i personally wear tts and they fit fine, but a bit roomy. very good heellock, overall good grip and boardfeel for cupsole, comfy to walk around in and alright dampening. mid to slim puff, they are not as thick as they sometimes look in pictures. but they are padded enough. thinner than dunks, about as padded as accel slims but hold their shape better and have a more substantial, stiffer sole.

Do the 508s have as stiff of a sole as the 440s?

it has the same tread pattern as the 288... not sure if it's modified at all from that, but if it's basically a 288 sole it's substantially thinner than the 440

i think the 440's sole is softer than the 288og/508 sole tbh.

True to size unless you have wide feet go up half size. Suede pairs skate great right outta the box. Leather pairs take a few sessions to break in and last longer than suede pairs.

I just retired the black suede 1010’s, fit TTS for me. I liked them a lot, didn’t take long to break in, skated fine on the 1st session. I only skate cups so maybe coming from Vulc it would take longer to adjust? Love the sole, grip was amazing. I skated them for 3 months maybe 6hrs a week. I should have super glued the toe seams earlier. They still have plenty of life in them tho TBH. 8/10 for me

Anyone else starting to sweat waiting for more colors of the 508s? Wore a hole in the Ollie spot of my switch foot or I’d still be on pair number 1. The dual materials break in so nice, if shoegoo doesn’t buy me more life on the white/creams I might try 288

If you don't mind me asking, what size board do you ride, and what kinda skating are you into? What are your go-to flip tricks?

I ask because I just had my first proper session in mine last night, maybe 2. 5 hours, and already have a hole in the mesh where the knuckle on my second smallest toe is. Wondering if i just drag my foot weird.

I ride 8.5 with Jessup, mob fucks my shoes up too fast. I mainly skate ledges, don’t do too many flip tricks lately, especially regular stance. Go to is nollie/switch flip.

Happened to me too, probably the biggest flaw of the shoe in my opinion. I have the suede “beef and broccoli” ones too which are obviously holding up better. The issue with those is some sweat stains forming, but I’m sure with some elbow grease they can be gone.
