I love how all Reynolds shoes have a certain look to them, like you know its Reynolds shoe without even knowing the model

These look like a Reynolds 2 had s*x with a DC Lynx who then had s*x with a Emerica Westgate

Why the fuck did you censor the word “sex”?

Looking forward to what it looks like on someone other than reynolds. Not that it doesnt look good but he notoriously chokes the hell out of his shoes on top of having slim feet. See when he wears both tiagos as example. It will likely look dramatically different on other feet.

I was so hyped for the Reynolds G3, especially in brown/gum when they dropped, but found them super uncomfortable and only skated them a couple of times. I'm a big fan of NB though, and hope these live up to the hype.

I don’t think that Reynolds, nor NB are idiots.
I think that this shoe will be designed to accommodate “most” feet.

It’ll probably be the “perfect” shoe for a huge swath of skaters.

Damn these look good.

Please make interesting color ways. I’m sure nb makes great skate shoes but holy shit this is such a dad looking shoe. But I get a lot of skaters just like a basic looking skate shoes while still having good features.

Just got some of the NB# apparel and the quality is top notch. Shout out to Kinetic for the super fast shipping as always. I like the rubber embossed labeling.

I can attest to this as well. Super good quality and the embossed logos look awesome. Exactly what I would expect from Numeric’s apparel. As always, killer job @rothdigga and @minigeek

I prefer the N that is on the 808 and new 440 because it looks like the Marc Johnson Emerica M.

It's funny how perception evolves -- I didn't like the "new" N at first upon the release of the 440v2, but now I prefer it over the old one. Designers know their shit.

The 1010 is the best shoe ever in my humble opinion. Ive been skating them and the 808s only for the last 3 years.

The main reason I love the 1010 is the impact protection. They are very kind of my old knees.

But I would like to try other models, for example the 480s I have.

Ive never used custom insoles before but is there any insoles I can buy that replicate the experience with the 1010s?

I liked the Emerica N immediately because one can see it as an N or not as an N. The lines flow with the shoe, whereas the original N can sometimes appear stuck on like a patch.

Also likes the big N due to MJ Emerica vibes. Funny thing though time ago I saw some OG1 and my first thought was like "Ew, look like a crapped out Tiago"

The big N is great. I still think the 808s are the best looking Numeric. Wish they worked for me.

They should update the 808 to feel and fit more like the 1010.

Bro, buy a 1010 then, there is a reason why they made two different models for him. 808 is perfect as is.

They should update the 808 to feel and fit more like the 1010.

There are rumors of an 808V2 releasing this year which will have a slightly thinner sole.

Boom.

That would be really cool. A little bit less bulky version of the 808 would also be sick.

I’ve heard from reputable sources about the 808 slim as well, very curious considering the og 808 fit didn’t work for my feet

I would hope the original 808 would stay in the lineup if that’s the case and not be totally replaced like the 440s. I love the 808s the way they are, pure confidence in anything I try since my feet feel so protected.

My reputable sources also tell me there's an 808-Light coming in April/May of this year.  $95 retail (down $15) and a bit slimmed down from the previous version.  I can check back with them but they're usually pretty spot on with their info.

A lighter version of the 808 sounds like an 808 that feels more like a 1010. So we have this and Reynolds' shoe on the horizon.

NB now reminds me of Nike SB in the early 2000s where each release felt like a wee event.

Hopefully this isn't like a Lynx Zero from a Lynx OG. 808s are great for me because of the thicker sole.

Would also hope this does not phase them out like the 440v2 did to the 440.
