It looks like someone slapped an N on a lynx zero or something and they look really skinny. I get its runner/chiller inspired. But I think the 808’s and 1010’s have a way superior shape. Also $130 is insane in today’s world. Numeric is always on sale, I’ll try these out when they are $69 clearance in a few months  8)

Lynx comparisons I don’t see at all - those things have a huge ass sidewall/misole. Cliff toe. Overall bulk including tongue. Nothing similar about the uppers… I’m lost but ok

I don’t see lynx at all, but i do see Dyrdek 10 similarities with the toe cap.

Runner toe to me doesn’t automatically scream lynx

Finally looked deep and really liked them.   Using the inner shoe angle because it’s a flat perspective makes it pop a lot more than the regular angled perspective.

Based off the angles seen on Reynolds’s feet, I think the shoe will come to life for some when they see that size perspective because it doesn’t seem as big as the Lynx when we see on foot pics.   Also think it has a great look down design, especially on the wheat pair

Surprised that colorway is listed as Grey Day.   I thought the official grey was that heather/lighter grey, but kinda dig the darker   When I was zooming past, it looked Blue to me and in those Reynolds pics of him wearing them

The Brown and Grey cw’s are the clear winners. The all Green is okay but the black/green is off with the all white sole. If it was black or even gum I’d feel like it meld better with those 2 cw’s.

Dude this is Slap and an NB# fanboy thread. Most of the initial haters here are gonna buy the shoe anyway and later act like they were on the forefront of something great when the pics were leaked here.

Anyway, wheat colorway looks ok, but the other cw's are ass ugly. Why go full nuclear with the dadness?

I bet the shoe is gonna look great with some less mature colorways. Dads have the dough, though, so.

Top down view sold it for me. Can see it’s gonna skate well. NB need to get some better photos out there asap cause those are terrible and ain’t doing the shoe justice.

Does anyone know if the 440 High V2 Justin Henry model will be available in Europe? It’s been on the American NB website for a while now, but the German and Danish NB sites still don’t have it stocked. I need it!!

Gently bumping this one. Hoping for a Christmas miracle!

Holy shit that IS a Christmas miracle! You guys are unbelievable (shout out Mr Applebum). If I wasn't already an NB# lifer already that certainly sealed the deal. Will hit you up. Hope you're all having an excellent holiday over there.

Hi @rothdigga, I received a UPS package! My girlfriend couldn't believe it, "so a guy that works for New Balance, sent a pair of shoes from the US because they're not available over here... for free.. because you posted on a skateboard forum!?" Yup indeed, he did. Again, honestly speechless about the level of customer service here, unreal. You guys truly rock, thanks so much for doing this. The Henrys join my growing 440V2 lineup, amazing shoes. I've struggled with gout for two years and these work really well with my left big toe/joint situation. Looking forward to getting through all these when spring hits over here. I've only skated the two blue pairs so far (these are my popping foot, don't do switch, old dad fart) and they've been fantastic. Anywho, back to the scheduled Reynolds 933 talk :)

The only reason people are comparing it to a lynx is because of that little runner strip on the toe tip. This is a great design . That leak sites pics definitely don’t do the shoe justice. Because the shoe looks way better on the thrasher cover and you can barely see it.

Stoked for you!
I'm still suffering about those 480 Natas never coming to Europe. When they came out I checked everywhere in the EU just in case and no luck. Ordering from the US was way too expensive and as usual I already had way too many NB# shoes. I still do but you all know how it goes
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

Yeah those Lynx look nothing like the 993s. They sound similar on paper, but the paneling is completely different and even the soles are fairly different shapes.

I would bet money that once on feet pictures and footage come out of the 993s, people will start switching up their opinions on it.

I'm always overly concerned about people's eye for detail here once the shoe comparisons start. How do get a Lynx from looking at the Reynolds? It's just that tiny piece on the front of the toe that's similar

Anyone going to talk about the move in apparel/soft goods?  Curious about move in terms of how the company planned on that next step of the program and why it took until now to give it a shot

Maybe they didn't see the demand for a numeric branded apparel line. Or some conflicting interests with clothing sponsors? If you ride for New Balance Numeric, can you also ride for Huf for example? I don't know how that all works. And the numeric apparel seems to be a bit more specific for skateboarding, stretchy pants and all that. And that the clothing line has the # after the NB branding which is cool but also not that much of a difference. Did anyone already got some Numeric apparel in hands? Should be the same quality as the regular NB line, right?

Thickness of the sole, and the shape of the sole/shoe. Upper isn’t similar, but the foundation of the shoe is.

The shape is similar in that they're both shoes. DCs are just so clunky and boxy in general but especially the Lynx. The 933s just look like a simplified version of classic NB dad runners which I assume is exactly what they were going for.
