I have a theory that the 933 was pushed from 4/18 to 4/25 bc this week employees’ had kids and they were doing spring break vacations

From some of the shops teasing, looks like the black and olive 933 is also part of the launch? I'm happy because I wasn't feeling the brown one.

Do we know if the box these come in is cat approved? I got some cats that love curling up in shoe boxes. These are the questions that keep me up at night.

I'm pretty sure the 933 boxes are ergonomically designed to be cat friendly for curling up in.  That was one of the reasons for the delay, the first batch of boxes came in only good for small dogs but not cats.

Tried on the 933 today and it’s the real deal. Super high quality all the way around. Fits more snug than 480 for me and a lot like the 1010 but I’ll go TTS. Black/olive colorway is really nice and I wasn’t initially feeling it at all when I saw the images online. Very comfortable, stable,  and locked-in fit; not tippy/ankle rolly at all. For the money and compared to the 990 series the 933 are absolutely worth the cost.

More important than the shoes, I gotta know when the 933 banner ads are coming to the message boards!  @rothdigga

Nice! That’s awesome to know. I was worried about the sizing since I saw someone on here say they fit like the 480s, in those I go half a size down since I like my shoes snug but I’m a 12 in both Tiago shoes. Only one more week to go!

The wait is killing me, specially when we don't know when they will available in the EU

Slide 4 shows scale of thickness between 440v2 and 1010. Cool cutaway too, not sure if sample or final

Funny to see they did actually consider the 8033 numbering

Los Angeles based fans of the Tom K highlighter shoe should have their eyes glued to his or Jake Hayes IG stories right now (and potentially post yourself on the Westside)

The Boss calling out Kader?

“You could probably party and skate a little, but I can tell that all the guys I know who are hooked on weed are really hurting their careers in skating. People don't see it, and they don't want to hear it, especially young people, but it takes away some drive, some spark in them that they probably had when they were a little kid.”

This is wild. Maybe Californians are different but some of the best tricks I’ve ever done where I’ve been the most motivated or after a nice smoke session and I have other hobbies outside of skating where I am definitely better and more motives when I’m stoned vs sober.

So sick of Tom K to spread the love of these amazing colorway shoes... I am so bummed though I'm in OC and know by the time I get there and not knowing the size the odds are not in my favor. If anyone has a 9.5 please holla. Will pay money or even gratitude in volunteer work haha

Tried on the black/olive 933s today. Here’s my take.

Fit and finish: Premium look, feel, finish, and materials, as usual for NB#.

Sizing: Fits TTS-ish. I wear a 11.0 in every Nike SB and Vans. For NB#, it’s all over the place. I wear 11.5 in the 1010s and 808s. Size 11.0 in the 480s and 440s. Size 11.25 (if it existed) in the 600s. Surprisingly, 10.5 in the 933 fit but was pretty snug. Size 11.0 was more comfortable for me.

Feel: Didn’t skate in them, so I can’t comment on board feel. But the sole thickness was like the 480 but it felt more stable—more like the 1010. Real stiff like the 808. That threw me off because the upper looks like a 99x runner, so I expected more flex out of the box. Maybe because the black/olive colorway has a leather toe box, not mesh like the other launch colorways. Or maybe the stiffness is all in the sole. My heel didn’t feel as locked in as I hoped it would, but definitely better than the 1010s used to feel before they redesigned the heel pods.
