Midfoot felt a little snug, but toes had plenty of room

Midfoot snug like the 440/272/574, where if you have wide flat feet your arch spills way over the side?  Or snug like the 1010/808/306 where the sole is wide-ish, but the arch is really stiff and high, leaving your midfoot feeling choked out?

Slide 4 shows scale of thickness between 440v2 and 1010. Cool cutaway too, not sure if sample or final

I’m surprised the Reynolds isn’t further right on the cushion scale. The 1010 isn’t really as cushioned as it looks - the Emerica Reynolds low felt softer to me. The midsole unit in the new shoe looks huge. Fake runner like the 420?

1010 has the NB answer to Boost?  Thatd be pretty cush-y, if true

We get it, NB don't fit you well. Just move on rather than continuing to bitch and moan. I hate the way Nike and Cons fit but am not up in those threads constantly complaining about it.

Darn I love this color way. I’m gonna pick these up.

Got mine arriving Wednesday.   With a colorway name like “incense/rich oak” I’m expecting these to smell amazing

a fucking men.
skateboarder4life, it’s gotta suck to be in your situation, but are you not the person with some unique large/wide feet? the only shoes that have worked for you were the splay shoe yeah? my feet are really jacked, and i just went on a trip ( walking no skating), and all i can think about is wider shoes. my feet measure out to e, but ee frequently do not feel wide enough. sorry to make it about me here for a sec, but i’m trying to say i hear ya on the foot pain.
maybe ive missed it but what is your particular beef with nb? that they have had ‘wide’ shoes in their non skate line in the past?
am i getting this wrong? aren’t you the person whose whole-ass foot covered the 1010? what i am getting at here is you are going to need to find a unique solution to this fairly unique problem. i’m not aware of ANY shoe that would ‘work’ for you, am i incorrect?

Bought another pair of my favorite shoe that I absolutely hate, yep the 1010s, first couple of pairs my middle toe hurt, then they changed the width between the top two lace holes and I tore a ligament in my left ankle, by the time I was back on board they had sorted out the hole spacing - after I sent them 100s of emails they even shaved off that pesky .001mm difference on the midsole compared to some previous drops and things were looking swell, that is until I realized mid kickflip that the stitching around the toe box was about .004 mm higher up then it was in the earlier models, while still in the air my whole body tensed up so when I landed primo….. I shattered my pelvis. After that I was just getting healed enough to get back on the board again, I was out of work and money was slim but I ordered one of each available color way off there site. Fast forward a bunch of size 5 1/2 1010s arrive at our door step the same day the sharif came knockin tryna kick us out, my wife was furious and tried to make me return or sell all the shoes but I insisted we were on the verge of something, silly me I guess, I woke up the next morning and she had left with the kids. I eventually got forced out of the house. Mom I’m home and I brought some of those shoes I’m always talking about! One day after sending out a few emails to new balance complaint department from ye basement kingdom I said hey guess should try out some new 1010s got to the park straight after leaving zumiez I laced them up, you guessed it - the updated shape of the heel compressed my ankle to the point I farted in fear as I rushed to tear them off my feet I lost my balance bending over and hit my head on the ground cracking my skull. Anyways that was about 4 months ago and I’m just now starting to feel up to skating again, just ordered a few more 1010s but I’m concerned- are the insoles still the absolute fucking worst?

I own 4 pairs of 99x NBs that all fit great, seeing as how the 933 is directly inspired by those, it’s reasonable to hope they copied the roomy fit.  Lots of people have shared my opinions about the # line over the years, it’s not just me who hopes they’ll someday listen.

It’s also dumb to imply that if certain models don’t fit you, nothing by the brand ever will.  Some Nikes fit me great, some don’t.  If anything it’s weird to have so many models that all fit so similarly.

Anyone know what the debossed blob under the green layer is? With little details like the numbers on the sole I imagine it has some kind of meaning.

Is the brown 933 going to be limited like his first 480 CW was? I feel like I am seeing shops/pages post more about the olive/black than the browns.

Olive blacks were just the first shipment of shoes shops received.   Noticed that too, but @rothdigga confirmed

I'm normally a brown/tan shoe fan, but I'm not feeling either color on the initial drop.  Out of the first 4 shown, I think the grayish blue one is the one I'm most drawn to which is weird as it's not one I normally would be.  Anyone know if that is second or third drop?

There are two sets of numbers. The crossed out nb numeric numbers that they tried before arriving on 933 under the insole, and also a bunch of significant dates for him in the notches on the toe part of the sole.

Shops will start selling them this Friday on 4/25, so make sure you start there for your purchases.  Guessing some will do some midnight sales as usual.
The MNO colorway is just now shipping out to shops, that's why you guys are seeing more of the BST posted, those will hit right at launch in the nick of time.
