Lol, yeah. That’s what I thought about.

And @moonordie the standard laces are too small. I can’t lace them up without choking the shoe. So I put Dunk laces in them cause they’re longer.

The post above: that sounds so anti corporate I can respect it. After getting a pair of the 933’s I totally believe they didn’t want to cheapen the 808.

I would totally buy a 306 cup sole. I’m sure Foy just likes a basic shoe and it’s his shoe so it’s his preference but I find it odd their arguably best skater on a technical level gets the least tech shoe.
[close]

He doesn’t seem to skate cup soles so that’s why his shoe is the least tech. They’ve done a good job of tailoring each pro shoe to the pros needs and not whatever the marketing department came up with and needs to sell like vans does their pros

He’s got some clips in a few different 480 colorways, but yeah, he’s usually rocking his shoes. It makes sense. It would be a bummer to give a guy a signature shoe and then see that he’s always wearing something else.

As maybe the most vocal person for the 306 cup, I can’t wait to see what it looks like. I’m stoked. I keep hoping our NB# pals are gonna slide me some sneak peek photos, but I’m not special, and that’s okay. So I’ll just keep checking here and insta for when pics start to surface.

The red accents on the grey day 933s gave me an idea 🥴

Red laces are a nice lil white power symbol, and can mean you've killed a minority before.

But even worse than that god that is just not a good looking combo dawg

in the mid 2000's, Nike did a red laces thing with that RED company (the one that Apple always partnered with) to help fight aids in Africa

So, not sure people are just gonna be like red laces = white power

Oh I’m still going to run them. I don’t think that’s a fact that most folks know. And looking at me no one will assume white power lol.

The laces actually came from a pair of Dunks (City of Love).

I do refuse to wear red hats nowadays. Trump ruined them.

Do yellow laces still represent anti-fascism/racism?

A 306 slip-on cupsole would sell well.

Yeah I think so, even though it seems that young people are not that aware of the "lace code" anymore and just wear their shoes however. Maybe it's a good thing.

Only weirdos abide by this "lace code"

Just wear what looks good on the shoe.

There are dunks and Jordans with every color lace imaginable, normal people do not care about this shit.

If it’s on a pair doc Marten boots in a bar pattern, I’d assume there’s meaning, but all these shoes are exempt

Trump is the 47th President of the United States. People love putting that shit on their cars and shirts, kinda like "Let's Go Brandon" but more subtle.

Not really. The RASH folks I know often wear red laces, and some of the local boneheads wear yellow.

Let’s get back to talking about new balance shoes please.
A few posts back I saw someone say they wished for another slip on and I honestly I wish the same. 306 slip was a good shoe and it’d be nice to skate in another slip on. I think right now the only option for one is a vans or emerica slip on but damn the 306 one was way better in my opinion

No one thinks it’s secret code.   It’s like wearing a red hat, I’d prefer not to have a 47 on the side of my hat.   I wouldn’t wear and 88 football jersey either even if it is a notable jersey number outside of HH association

I had some Emerica Wino G6 Slip Cups (what a name) and liked them a lot more than I thought I would. I think the G6 cupsole is prob the best thing Emerica has done in a long time, but most of the shoes they're attached to are bad.

Does anyone else even make a cupsole slip-on right now?

That slip cup emerica was one of my favorite shoes of all time man I miss that one. Still try and occasionally search for one but haven’t had luck.
I feel like Emerica was the only one in recent memory to ever do a cupsole slip on

The only slip on to fit my foot perfectly without slipping out or being too tight. Use shoplurker there's still some out there. There's a couple on Poshmark too. I've got the Hoban black and green that are reaching end of life but another brand new pair on ice I grabbed from the Emerica site when they were heavily discounted couple years ago. Amazing shoe wish they kept it going.

Anyone have Intel on upcoming new colors for the 440 high? I can understand why new cws have been lagging as NB focuses on the 933 and 808 lites, but I've been patient all year for a simple white or gray (yea the Justin Henry one was gray but I prefer the massive N logo to be monochrome or even better, just unseen) only to see some goofy indigo and brown colors and the underwhelming white with brown N. Then the newest one drops and it's... black and gum. To join the existing all black ones. Like what? Feel like almost every other model gets better and more color treatments. It does seem to follow the rollout of the original V1 cws (first all black with black N, then black with gum and white N) but over what seems like a longer time frame. Remember all the varied cws of the V1 right before they discontinued it?

I know its been mentioned in this thread before, but can we confirm that the 933 is slightly thinner than the 480? Anyone have any thoughts on the 933 well broken in? Does the board feel ever improve?

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

New colorways just dropped so I wouldn’t expect any for a bit.  I believe they do quarterly drops so maybe October/nov?

480 is thinner, but to me the 933 felt more flexible

Well, colorway seeing as the high got one new color a new outsole color. Oh well I'll continue being patient and hopeful for a drop in the fall.
