I've got a Polar with wheel wells (Hjalte 8.5) and Thunder 151s. Pretty much no wheel bite at all with the wheel wells.

The wheel wells are great, I’m able to comfortably run 58mm with no risers.

@jay_nev I used to have one and I want to say it was 8.6-ish over the back. When I first got it I ran Indy 149s and then switched to 159s.

Bones Swiss 6

6 confirmed.
My last set of swiss unremarkable. 6 is that shit tho, noticeably faster, longer lasting.

I got Daddies Indy 169s that I am looking to mount but would like a popsicle with the following dims:

32”-32.25” X 9” +/- .125” (14.25”-14.50” wheelbase)

I was gonna buy a Polar 9” but the top was red and I can’t do it.

Anyone get a Creature Stumps? The dims seem perfect but the tail and nose kick scares me.

Trying to take myself out of tomorrow after the session going and getting:

Either 99a F4 tablets Or 99a v1 easy streets

Santa Cruz 8.3 with a 14.25 wb or creature stumpy 8.5 with 14.25 wb

I’m a few sessions in on an anti hero 8.25 with 14.18 wb and ventures and it just don’t feel right. Idk maybe I should try it longer. But olllies seen to take work and they pop good but just seem like a lot and my kick flips don’t work as well. But I had the ventures on an AWS 8.5 and 14.25 and it was great  I digress.

@Xen  makes me want to try DSM. I just don’t know if I wanna do 8.3 or 8.5

Adidas Pro Model (not the skate version). Trying to channel some Angelides, Kareem inspo here!
Bones STF V5s in 53-55mm size. I am interested in Spit F4 but still hesitant because I've run Bones STF for the last 10 years consistently. Scared to try em. lol

I just woke up from a dream in which I setup a board with 1/8" wood risers. Anyone know where I could grab some?

Was thinking about buying a Zoo York deck since they revamped their persona and have gone back to their roots. I was a fan of Zoo before their mallcore paradigm shift, and recently saw a deck I like which is also on sale. I'm assuming it's Chapman wood but I've been reading that Chapman is closing/has closed, although their website seems active. In any case I'm pretty sure the Zoo boards out now are still Chapman, which has a good reputation.

On the other side of the rainbow, I'd like to buy Gino's new FA model.

^ bummed to be spreading a rumor if it's not true, but multiple people have told me Chapman isn't pressing in the US anymore.

@Murge

Depends on what you are after? The newer NHS/SC 8.375 (not the creature 8.375x32.12x14.5"WB) isn't a 'big' 8.3, if you know what I mean (kicks are pointy btw, so beware), so if you are looking for width, go with the 8.5

My etnies maranas are dying so i need new shoes again. I can't find any on sale though and I'm pretty broke. Any other shoes have the similar protection/cushioning and also last a long time?

Thinking between getting a set of Indy Forged Hollows or maybe Thunder Titanium Lights, I'm on Thunder hollow lights now. I don't mind the thunders, not sure if it's worth trying the Indys. I'm after a lighter truck to make it easier for my old legs.

For my old legs, the easier popping of the Indys negates any additional weight. I was forced to give up my thunders at 42 for easier popping (decreased wheelbase) of Indys.

Is there really that much of a difference? Wouldn’t the variance between different board shapes be more of a factor?
