What are your opinions on polar p9 board shape? (and overall polar board quality)

i haven't skated that shape, looks really fun. Polar is on BBS/Generator wood so its quality stuff. the Polar boards i've ridden were great!

I have one set of Spitfires on deck but should I buy another set of F4s if I see them? I'm just wondering how long/worse the drought will be.

As soon as I see some 51mm 99a Tablets on the market I am scooping. Need a new 8.5, too.

Been lurking hard for those tabs in 99a myself.

been rocking em for two months or so .. really love them.

Riding some 52 (now 51) 99a V2 STFs (Easy streets) - they just don't have that spitfire feel.

Done. Conical F4 53 mm 99Ds coming my way. It's surreal how rare it is for F4s to pop up online here in Canada. Shops are keeping a lot of their stock in-store only (understandable and respectable), and if any F4s are for sale, there's only a few pairs and they get sold out in a few days. I've been amassing a directory of online shops and checking them - shops I've never heard of - and it's bleak.

If any Canadian Pals are reading this and looking for some F4s, this shop has three sets left: https://www.boarderlineskateshop.ca/skate/wheels/

Very square/full nose and tail. 14.25 WB. Havnt had one myself but checked it out and liked it. I've got a few boards in the stack that i want to skate first but will get a mandersons at some point.

Oh ok. That actually sounds like the Ishod Wair 8.38 full se that I’m riding now anyway, which I like a lot. The Manderson is just a hair longer. I think I’ll like this deck. Thanks!

What do you think of cliche skateboards? I know that the brand hasn't been around for at least 4 years but I see their boards with new designs popping up in skateshops with really low prices(but still more expensive that the stale 4 year old boards). Is it worth buying a cliche board? They cost $42 where I live...

Should be a bog standard DSM deck, more like an Almost with a mellower concave and milder kicks unlike Darkstar or Blind which does steep concave and kicks. The dimensions of the 2 pro boards I have in storage are definitely non standard:
8 x 31.8 x 14
8.1 x 32 x 14.125 (converting from millimeters to inches here)

I doubt the regular team boards will be anything special versus standard DSM wood. I rode a team Darkstar deck (don't laugh) earlier this year and it felt horrible. Soggy from day 1, tail too short and no amount of truck switching helped.

Venture Truck Height:

5.0 & 5.2 LO
STANDARD - 1.88” - 47.75mm
FORGED - 1.85”- 46.99mm

5.0 ,5.2, 5.6, 5.8 & 6.1 HI
STANDARD - 2.09” - 53.09mm
FORGED - 2.04” - 51.82m

Anyone tried a P2 board before? Skateamerica has a few old Flip ones for sale, may pick one up since I'm already shipping a bunch of stuff my way. They dimensions are pretty small at 8 x 31.5 x 14

Check out the skateamerica thread before you consider buying anything from them. They have stuff on their website that they don’t actually have in stock anymore

Thanks Tom, managed to get some 5 sets of Bones wheels a few weeks back, so I'm hopeful. But good point I don't want to be stuck with hundreds of dollars of credit at a store i won't revisit.

The Dicola shape is up on the $lave site. Wanted the Warpig but the shape is the same, right?

It would go well with the 215s I have on ice.

Ps: Do we have a thread for boards that go with 215s?
Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.

They look great on foot but skate awful. The sole is weird, kind of stiff and thicker than something called "hyperfeel" should be. Thin suede too. I ended up donating them.

Thinking of going down to 8.3...this twin tail is really interesting...8.3 x 31.9 x 14.4 and 6.7 nose and tail

P2s are kinda cool. They stay stiff longer but the nose and tail will chip quicker.

When was the last time p2s were made? It’s gotta be at least like 5 years no? I had one in like 2010. Honestly I skated great for me on it. Took a little while to get used to it, the stiffness or whatever, something about composite/alternative material decks has been weird for, real hit or miss. Sometimes you get the most pop, other times nan. Dunno why. I think I may have stopped skating it after feeling like my knees were hurting more, compared to after skating a regular board.

soo.. yeah. I've been wondering about vans anaheim sid dx shoes (the regular ones). These are not pro(although there is a pro model of them but its not avilable). Do the regular ones make the cut(will they last a month or so)?

Does anyone know the dimensions that Isle usually uses for their 8-inch boards?

Specifically thinking of this one: https://www.paradeworld.com/uk/products/isle-skateboards-80-sylvain-tognelli-artist-series-jenna-westra-deck-8-4715999526975/

Supra Breaker Lows. Never skated surpas before. Im digging the classic and all white look. Although the strap is a bit goofy.

Gave mine away too. I don't think they were as terrible as everyone else seems to, but the idea of all the structure coming from the insole rather than the actual shoe was just too weird and I couldn't get used to them. I did like how pliable and grippy the sole was, so I think with a bit more structure and more traditional design they would have been really good.

Anyone try a strangelove deck yet? I'm interested in the 8.25 bird in a bush or wolf boy slick but was curious about the shape and how flat they are. It's always hard to tell from pictures but it kind of looked like similar to a toy machine mellow, is that accurate?
