Thunders...maybe. Have mainly only ever rode Indy's and recently dabbled with ventures. The ventures i actually didn't hate and just got some of the loose conversion bushings to try them out again. Trying to decide if i should just run the ventures with the loose conversion bushings since the ventures are practically new or try thunders...madness is too real
Sell/give away the Ventures if you really are itching for the Thunders if not just keep going with the Ventures

Yea, i kinda agree with this. In order to manage my madness i had to try out everything i was interested in. but it only works if you make a decision after trying everything and stick to it or something near it

Thinking of getting mag light low for my 7.75, I don’t need it but I think I’ll start riding it if it’s super light, now it has some old royals that came with a complete for my wife about 5 years ago

put any truck you want (that fits) on a 7.75, it will be fairly light.

Ok

Just because I am annoying: I was pretty surprised how heavy venture 5.0 lo’s are. I wouldn’t change them, I think the weight is helpful, but certainly heavier than I expected.

Spitfire F4 Radials in 52mm - kinda like the idea of a rounder edge wheel with a wider riding surface

Venture V-hollow 5.2 Lo - Been on the highs for a while now and I like em a lot, just kinda wanna try out the los.

The worst bushings on earth. Only buy if you want your Indy trucks to never turn again. If you want soft bushings, but the white ones.

1010s but I feel that I’m either going to get heel slip or crush my small toes, if I don’t get the right size. 8 in Tyshawns and 7.5 in Fastbreaks fit me the best. Most people on here say to go down .5 a size but the two people I asked at the park said to go TTS.

Tyshawns skated really well for me, and I’ll probably go back.
1010s are real comfortable. Imo err on the side of heel slip, and joggers lace the shoe. 1010 is the most comfy.

A 9 "curb" set up. Like a big heroin deck. IDK why, I know I can skate a curb on an 8.25.

They were TTS for me in size 11 with just the right amount of toe room.

Considering copping a pair of sale Ventures from the Orchard sale. I've only ever skated Indys and I'm curious about trying something else.

Yeah those red ones were not 88 duro and felt more like 92 to 94 from the clear container.

Funny thing with a new set (not the cross logo, but the diamond logo packaging) but they were actually soft and worked well.

Maybe it was a manufacturing issue with the older ones or something, but the newer ones are a bit more shiny red and way softer than the older ones.

They still come in cylinder (firmer feeling) and conical (more turn) too.

Considering copping a pair of sale Ventures from the Orchard sale. I've only ever skated Indys and I'm curious about trying something else.

I recently got ventures after only skating indys forever and they are different but not in a bad way. They didnt turn exactly how i wanted them to with the stock purple bushings with flat top washer so i went back on indy. Today i put the ventures back on with the loose conversion bushings and now they turn lile crazy. I put a pair in my cart on orchard site this morning and am thinking of getting them to have another size of ventures.

Recently did the Indy to venture move. I swapped the bushing for some green 94 supercush and they somehow now feel surfier than with the softer stocks. The biggest adjustment is the grind...they do not blast through curbs like Indy due to the shape, but once they're broken in they get the job done for sure.

The grind is one reason I'm likely bailing on Ventures. Even grooved the grind fairly slow compared to other trucks. I actually think the low grind faster than the high for crooks on chunky cement.

Thanks, I pulled the trigger on the Primitive ones.

8.3 TT Worrest board with the gorillas, but I have enough Hockey boards to last me over a year. My brain is trying to justify the purchase by pointing out that none of the boards in the pile are TT.

Ended up copping a pair of Bobby Worrest Ventures from the Orchard sale, thanks for all the feedback dudes! I almost ordered the loose conversion kit too but I figure I should give them a test as-is first. I don't run my Indy's super loose so I think I could get away with the stock bushings.

Hell ya! If you cant get them loose enough, the flat top washer is a game changer
