Low Impact – A Kaffee Skateboards Video (2025)
Filmed entirely in Frankfurt am Main, Germany
Shot in 4:3 HD
What’s up everyone,
Just wanted to drop a video we recently wrapped up:
👉 Low Impact – A Kaffee Skateboards Video (2025)

It’s 35 minutes of raw, honest street skating – all filmed over two years in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Frankfurt is a strange city – a weird mix of ghetto corners, rich kids, and everything in between. But most importantly, it’s full of underground energy and heart.
This one’s for the locals – young, old, rusty, and ridiculously motivated.
It’s about skating despite bad backs, creaky knees, and aging hips. Keeping the fire alive, even when it hurts.
Real street skating, real people, low expectations – high impact.

Filming Setup (HD in 4:3):
The whole thing was edited in 4:3 (1440x1080) in DaVinci Resolve, with the timeline set to Crop to Fit Image.
We used a few different cameras throughout the project:
Fisheye:
Panasonic LUMIX GH5 with Viltrox Speedbooster + Samyang 8mm fisheye
Later switched to a Meike 3.5mm fisheye, which I ended up loving
GH5/Meike fisheye workflow:
I shoot in anamorphic mode at 4K 60fps, then enable the external teleconverter. This reduces the vignette and gives me that VX-style full-frame fisheye look straight out of camera – no zooming needed in post. Pretty happy with the results.
Long Lens:
Canon HF G26 (PAL) – similar to the NTSC Canon HF G21
Shoots in 16:9 like most camcorders
Some B-Roll was shot with a Sony Digital8 TRV camcorder
Recently picked up a Canon XF100 – stoked to try it out.
It has a built-in 4:3 frame overlay on the screen, which is super helpful when composing for 4:3 timelines. Still, the GH5 remains my favorite setup for fisheye.
Would love to hear what you all think.
Always down to talk gear or 4:3 workflow stuff.
Much love from Frankfurt 🖤
