madrid vs benfica was a fucking disgrace

“she shouldnt have been wearing that dress”
energy from mourinho at the end was a real treat
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

All this “long balls” talk in the other threads just makes me think of Tony Pulis’ Stoke City.

Just realized watching Kompany’s great response to Jose (and a reminder what a shit Mourinho always has been) that he looks a lot like Dashawn Jordan in the rare times you see him without a hat.   They both have that megamind cranium

Beating Villa and Liverpool four days apart for being dead last is crazy.

It’s very upsetting considering it’s coinciding with Man U’s finally discovering their form.   I have a soft spot for Villa bc I liked the Martin O Neil era back in the 00s when I first started getting into things and was hoping CL qualification wouldn’t be between Liverpool and them

mentioned earlier in the thread that I saw a few of their games around December/January and the points total didn't see representative of the performances, kept getting undone by bad luck or individual errors (everyone thought I was mad when I thought the our 0-0 against them was a good result lol)

anyone who actually follows them might disagree but looks like the points they are picking up are just them on the way to where they probably should be - hope they can do it as everyone loves a good underdog story (except whoever take the relegation spot I guess)

also re: man united, with all the injuries and their uptick in form I was worried about the result last night, but we ended their unbeaten run with 10 men no less

also shout out to Osula for the winning goal - was a beauty

from r/NUFC

Man City, Barcelona & Chelsea next, will be happy to get a result at any of those tbh...

Liverpool looked awful in Turkey. Konate and Wirtz were absolutely lost.

Spurs are just too funny to watch right now.

Yeah for a moment I was worried we were figuring it out and we’d be stuck with Slot.   Going to Anfield where Galatasaray can’t have any traveling fans gives some hope to make it to the next round, but we are on the death side of the bracket (while Arsenal is being gifted all things in every competition they’re in)

To be fair their FA Cup draws the past few years have been rough, but I won't argue with a lot of luck this year.

Mohammed Salah and the club jointly announced he's leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. I think this is the best outcome for all parties. Gives him a deserved victory lap and a chance to soak in some adulation, and allows the club to turn the page .

Yup.  Glad it happened.  Don’t have to wonder “what if” like if he left last summer and maybe we can get a nice exorbitant transfer fee from the Saudis too
