Can’t believe he’s making the sledgehammer again I need one

Hoping I don’t get a spongy one like a lot of the scrams I’ve had lately

Not sure how many are out there still. Grabbed that one from 303 bf sale, $53 shipped so I couldn’t pass it by. Just out of curiosity, what decks were soggy for you? Were they past drops or recent? Mine have all been fine but they normally sit in my bedroom closet until they get set up.

Interesting. I bought a 9.75 x 33 Scram BTP 2 deck maybe 9 months ago on sale for about $85 from one of the Aussie skate shops (I'm in NZ). It didn't have the usual BBS sticker but had a little dot around the front truck holes. I thought maybe it was a Covid special made at a different woodshop. Fun shape but it never felt crispy and sogged out quickly. I'd like to know where it was made. Looking forward to trying another BBS Scram shape.

Did it have a Made In… sticker on it? BBS does usually have the dot between the front truck holes. Some Chinese woodshops do that too, but it’s usually much smaller, almost pinhole size as opposed to the BBS which is more of a dimple.

Crazy to see he drilled in that board, but when I hold it in my hand it just looks way too stubby in the kicks, even though it is exactly the same dimensions for length, wheelbase, nose and tail as the blue eagle board - just 10" instead of 8.5" wide.

I had meant to sit the blue eagle on top of the horse pill just for a laugh with an orange eagle under it, but haven't had them in the same place yet.

This is the top pic but the phone looks like it has distorted the kicks, so they are really way more stubby looking in person than they look in this picture.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Yeah that was strange, it already has a short wheelbase. I wouldn't recommend redrilling it.

Today I was on the 9" Creature Stumps deck. Man going down a size is way harder than going up, let me tell you. Even though  it's still a "big" board.

Because they are a wholesaler (actually Generator is just a retail arm of BBS who is the manufacturer) it is not like a normal shop so I very much doubt they would have any discount options at all - just their prices as listed and their shipping as shown to where ever in the world.

That is one reason I have not ordered any as I am outside USA and shipping costs more than the decks do, but in saying that, they would still be cheaper than buying a pro board or ten from anyone that uses BBS for their boards, especially the generic shapes that they have on offer.

Compared to a regular retail shop or even a brand with their own graphics or whatever, the wholesale cost for decks is plenty cheap enough all things considered.

* I am not having a go at you, just hopefully explaining it a bit more.

Life Skateboards has a 10.5"/33.4" with a 15" wheelbase the "Barn Pop"

They also have a the "Ten" which seems to be very much like the Horse Pill.
