Nike SB ZoomX Bruin “Sandy”

Those bruins have Zoom X which means they probably have carbon fiber under the insole. I wonder if they will be flexible enough for skating?

The Vaporfly Next% I have has carbon fiber and it’s pretty stiff, not that flexible at all. Especially in the heel.

Zoom X is just the foam. Much like React is another of their foam technologies.

I guess they are skate shoes.

Does the Bruin react have like no flick/grab for anyone else or is that just me? Every time I kickflip in this shoe they rocket or my front foot just slides off the board. I’ve been skating these for almost 2 months and since day one my kickflips have been shit, recently I’ve been skating some really old spare shoes I’ve had and it’s night and day how much better flip tricks feel.

That post says worldwide.  I assumed the EU only stuff was pandemic related.   Those blue ones were too damn good

need to chime in here: No for me, skated mine for over a month, but i was worried that i‘d have the same problem you got since i thought the sole was rather thick/ high up in the toe. Took me a couple flips every session though to get it right!

Still very well functioning shoe for me

Maybe try a steeper board (i skated an FA board with that hella big nose and i think this might have helped in still finding the right flick with this shoe!

Great colorways, terrible shoe. Put it on a blazer low with suede
