I don't recall seeing much at all of Lovenskate as a brand.

Woodshop list has it as Pennswood, but all their boards I have looked up have short wheelbases, eg:

Anyone skated a Madness 8.75 and have word on how steep they are and what the shape/concave is like? Dims look good, thinking of copping if they are close to Hockey steepness.

I asked and the answer was Woodchuck and BBS, depending on which board graphic / run.

Those dimensions listed seem weird though, with it not being 32 long, or definitely having longer wheelbase or kicks than as shown.

There are longer and shorter Madness 8.75 decks, so I am going to go with this one as this is the shorter wheelbase thread.

Mellow concave
Medium kick


Being Dwindle R7 mold, to me this is anything but mellow concave and medium kicks, but if you are coming off a Hockey / FA deck, I guess anything might be a little more mellow than those boards.

R7 is very crispy, no give at all, compared to BBS wood which has some flex to it, so you are probably going to feel that more so than the concave, as per others who skate the R7 boards and love them.

Apart from the differences in concave from the different woodshops, the board itself seems like it would be a good one for a wider deck with a shorter wheelbase.

just want to give a heads up that despite the latest Questions being labeled a 14.5 anywhere online. its double drilled, the short option is about 14.1 (same as the 10" Big Guy shape)

Street Plant released a 14.5" wb version of that shape about 4/5 years ago (it was listed at 14.5" but was actually 14.375") and it was amazing. I bought it to be a cruiser but ended up skating it properly and loved it. It was the board that gave me the madness tbh, and start running multiple setups. I would definitely recommend it. If some cash comes in soon I'll be grabbing the 14.25" version above.

Regarding the Madness 8.75 popsicle above, I have that shape and I'd say mellow concave definitely.

Shape looks hot. I've been trying to size down to 8.5 but I might have to bite.
