I like them as normal jeans, but I just need that little extra room in the thighs when skating. I size up in the waist too to sag a bit.

99% sure they do. I've tried pairs that range from Tom penny thru hank Hill until being basically 511s (whatever character that is maybe classic Clint Eastwood) I get the same thing with Dickies 874s too tho.

If you buy Levi’s online they’re made somewhere else compared to the Levi’s stores. The stuff at the store is very consistent and made better. You can visibly see the difference comparing the 2 actually. Even then sometimes you can take a the pairs of a size out of the stack and some will be bigger or smaller. Just what happens with mass production but solved with a bit of sorting. A store employee kindly walked me through this once.

Yes. Called a double front and been around, just not that common. I swear I had Carhartts in the 90’s that were double all the way to the waist. I always get holes above the double part, but they’re pretty well gone by then.

How is no one talking about Asics entering the skate shoe market?

I could see these being popular with the older crowd. Curious to see how much R&D they do for durability versus footwear/fit.

They're japan only right now but I'm ordering a couple pairs while I'm here.
