I want to try that lotti board but I can’t bring my self to size down trucks
What size do you use? I still skating my Lotti Reissue with some Indy 149 and very happy with it, the funniest shape I've ever skated.
And how's the Polar Football shape working nosneb? I'm between that shape or the Blind Guy Mariano Reissue for my next board.

I ride 149s and I think anything under 8.25 to much axle sticking out. I have both guy slick and the polar. Same shape but dsm vs bbs.

Yes, it can bite more the axles than usual, the board would be perfect with some 139.
And I think I'll wait for the Polar Football shape to drop in Europe, at the moment I didn't find any shop selling it.

If you prefer a flatter shape the dsm wood looks decent these days with the reissues. Polar is kinda steep for my pref

I need to get back in on this.  Interested in that CK or the Polar.  CK looks long though.  Any complaints?

Also, which one has the fuller tail?

Wanted one of these for a while, but Real is just, well, there are other things to try.

^I bought both

https://www.daddiesboardshop.com/send-help-ichigotchi-skateboard-deck-9-00

Send Help 9.0" Egg on sale.  It's a long one.  Then use this.

Idk if this is worth mentioning right now, as they haven't updated the sales section recently, but Daddies Board Shop's "CLEARANCEGA" code still works for 25% off of clearance items.

I liked the Heroin Big Egg the most and I'm really tempted by the 10" one.

I have the polar football and I love the shape but I hate how much concave and how steep the kicks are.

I’ve been considering the 10” for a while, but I was unsure about trucks. I have 169s and a .875” gap sounds big even for an egg shape? I dm’ed Fos and he said he runs 169s with it, but kinda wishes something like 189s existed. Anyone have any personal experience with this deck?

Eggs are only 10” at their widest point and are more like 9.125 where the trucks are placed

The shapes on the blind reissues are really good.
Well I’ve only tried this one High Guy, but I love how it felt under my feet so much that I bought 2 more acternmy first.
I tried an egg shaped welcome once (called Anthem shape/ “authentic 90s football shape”)  and hated it.

God I've always skated popsicle 8.25s. My dad loves those reissues since they bring him nostalgia, is there a huge difference switching to those egg decks?

There’s really not much of a difference from shaped decks to popsicles to me (I usually go back and fourth with no problem) but I’m also not very good at skating so someone really good might have a harder time getting adjusted.

Someone said they don’t like that the kinda are dsm wood but that shit is great. China maple is just as good to me. They press one at a time so there no issue between shape being slightly off if you buy the board more than once.
Dwindle wood is legit and fine.

My brother rides 159s on his. They stick out and he has Spit Classics so 149s are probably better.

What size trucks are you riding ?
And do they stick out ?

Pondering this board
or the Polar 8.75 1992 style (which I guess I'd need 149s for if I go there)

Re: polar football;

Hopefully someone that had/has it jumps in (shape looks sick)...I’ve seen people run all different size trucks on it. I think you could be really close with 144/148s. I think it’s around 8.25 across the trucks

I have been riding the bigger egg with 215s for awhile now. Dremel’d wheel wells to loosen the 215s so they turn proper.

I tried 169s and it seemed wrong.  I tried ACE66 and they were probably the closest to flush,  but something about the 215s seems so right.   Kickflips still work but treflips with 215s and my wide 56mm ojII Combo’s is incredibly difficult as are Nollie flips

I used Venture 5.2 low so it’s 8inch truck and it doe not stick out at all. I just tried a 7.5 with those trucks too and I see no wheels sticking out either.
As for the polar football it’s ight I hate it because of how steep the concave is but it functions just like a normal board really.

Bummer on the concave. I was hoping it was more flat like in 1992. Thanks on the Lotti info. I've got 139s (8.0) currently and wasn't sure if I'd be cool with them
