First Egg I rode was that 9.125 shape, I'd been used to big fat tails for tail and blunt slides so I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I loved it and rode five in a row. Yeah, it's 8.75 over the trucks, so it definitely feels more like an 8.75 than a 9.125.
Glad you're digging it!

first session on the Mandy Heroin Egg, 9.1 I believe

fucking love it, real snappy pop and it feels like an 8.75 at best

I think what I love most about it is it has all the board feel of an 8.75 without the weight of one. Usually boards past the 8.5 mark feel super clunky at first until they break in but this thing is great from start to finish.

Honestly wish I could have these on rotation back to back but 9/10 they’re hard to come by.

If you’re not so concerned about graphics or brand loyalty, the Primitive Villani 9.1 egg and Grimple Gerwer 9.1 egg are all the same exact shape/dimensions/wood as the Heroin 9.1 eggs

Is there another symmetrical egg out there in the 9.0-9.5 range or just wait for the next Heroin run?

There's a Heroin 9.25 with wheel wells out at the moment it seems

I’ve decided on this one. 9 inch, Short wheelbase but I like the nose and tail dimensions . I’m going with the new afi Ace low trucks for it would 8.75 be best or 8.5 ok?

I think 8.5 trucks would be perfect for it. Granted I haven’t skated the shape myself but I have looked at it in person. 8.75 would also work too, just might hot-rod slightly

i actually switched back to my 8.75 trucks after initially setting it up on 8.5s. definitely rideable on 8.5s tho, I dont think my wheels stick out at all really, but i can see them when standing on top. I cant say enough nice things about this board. I love the teeny wheelbase at 13.75 and the long pin nose - I think its my favorite shape I've ever ridden. That being said, this is my second one and I'm looking for something similar. 9 football, 14 wb if anyone has a recommendation. can't do symmetrical, trips me out

What @BartHarleyJarvis said but I have more flip tricks on my Huffer than I do on my 8.4 x 14.25 Wb...

Its all about the proportions and shape...

Really curious about what these two setups are your huffer and the 8.4.

Excuse the double post but HOLY SHIT!

Jason Addams Black Label egg!!

9” x 32.8” with a 14.5” wheelbase

Can be found here:

https://www.blacklabelskates.com/product/jason-adams-suffer-9-0

A bit too long for my short legs, but this is awesome nevertheless. I love Bad Religion. I think this graphic is a tribute to the Suffer Album? Jason Adams is rad.

Yup, it’s symmetrical at 7” nose and tail, I like it the wheel wells are cool and allow for larger wheel sizes

Skating this right now. The wheel wells let me get away with 56mm radial fulls on cast thunders with no risers. Im a big fan, the pop feels great

i got 2 on ice but will set them up with 169's, but thats a very clear magic carpet. i'd say ace 77 are probably the best if you don't like that.

I’ll probably order some AF1s and set mine up like this, I’m not big on the magic carpet ride and I’ve already got a set of 54MM spits.

i put mine on ace classic 66s with some 43mm spit classics

it's a real slappy machine but it's kind of a bitch to push around such a heavy board on those little wheels. still had a few really fun sessions on it before i got tired of how much effort it took to get going.

I’ve got a question hopefully one of you Eggsperts can help me with  I’m looking to build a slappy set up and I’m not sure what trucks to settle on. Was looking into either the symmetrical egg (8.875 over trucks) or razor symmetrical (9.125 over trucks) and I’m stuck between either Ace AF1 60s or 66s. Just thought I’d get some outside input before I pull the trigger.

Not really an eggboi but I am a wide board person and I think 60s would be the ticket. 8.75 fits on variety of decks over 9" so you'd have more flexibility if you decided you liked it here in big country.

2 weeks ago, you would have only had the option to go 66s so shoutout to options

I second this, I just recently set up some 66s and they just felt a little wide for me, harder to get up onto some curbs. Probably would’ve gotten used to it but went back down a size and that’s been the sweet spot for me

Also keep in mind if you use a wider wheel they might stick out even more. I got radial fulls on 8.75 thunders and they still stick out on my 9.5 egg

I’m guessing this is the same shape as the Baker impact stripe decks they do from time to time. Those have a 14.25 wb and I believe 32 length might be a little less.
I wound up ordering one of these and can confirm it is indeed the exact same shape as the old impact stripe egg (i still have my skated one and i stacked them up to compare, even the wheelbase is dead-on).  Full stats on the shrinkwrap sticker are 9.25x32.75, 14.875 wb.  Very excited to set this one up.

it’s sick i love it. a lil extra work to stay on it on transition and pop it but the payoff is worth it
