pretty sure he has had some really really serious injuries the last few years, and as recent as 12 months ago. my guess he is injured really badly again. probably his time to retire.

Yea he seems to be pretty fucking over dramatic even when hes healthy. Sucks if he is done, although it wouldn't surprise me since he always slammed hard.

His hip has popped out of place several times now. I was imagine this is a reiteration of that. That seems to be what he's been complaining about with the whole #captaindislocate campaign he's been on.

Damn he’s my second favorite skater of all time and was really hoping he was gonna come back after his most recent hip surgery.

Blood and dislocation seem like a bad combo though.

he had enough for three parts for the last creature vid and that was during all this dislocation madness. Sigh, this is depressing, it seemed like he was just getting his groove back with his recent insta clips.

Gravette is such a rad dude and a great skater and really entertaining too. It's a major bummer he hasn't got his dislocating hip sorted. I'd really like to see him get it fixed for good even if he never came out with any more footage. I just want the guy enjoying himself without constant worry about dislocating his hip. $:-\$

He was doing his signature scorpion fall to avoid slamming on his hips all the way back when And Now came out. I am surprised he has lasted this long. Love his skating and hope he can recover. He may be dramatic but nobody has gone harder on KOTR.

Gravette is the fucking man. My eyes were opened very wide the first time I seen and now. Also i would put gravette very high on a list of most influential skaters from the era. He paved the way for all these fucked up 5050 grinds. And he did a fuckin backflip

It's crazy what people put on a the line for skating. Once your hip goes you're pretty fucked. They won't do hip replacements usually until your later stages in life because they only last a short time and you're fucked if you break the replacement.

If I was Gravette, Dollin or similar I would of peaced on skating long ago and taken up bush walking or something a bit more chill where you'll actually be able to walk into your 50s.

Skating is cool but not this cool
