watched it multiple times already and really enjoyed it.
casper brooker gets the strobeck treatment from jacob elliot harris, but i don't mind to be honest. a lot of ride on grinds from memory, but you don't get tired of them. malto seems to be spending a lot of time in london recently, and it's a good look for him. probably the most interesting malto footage you'll ever see.
kyron/karsten/euro guys/stefan - really liked this section. karsten is a underrated free agent signing for wknd i feel, and am really looking forward to seeing more from him. kyron is another that keeps growing on me.
donovon & daan - i'm generally not one for hyperbole, but i think this might be the best shared part since louie & jerry. it's an instant classic imo. daan's sideways look before he kickflips (down a huge set) is one of those subtle things you'll remember in 10 years. donovon had a lot of standout tricks. the bs smith to gap out at uc davis is is so fucked, and so is that kickflip into that skinny bank. that's some milton martinez level of insane. you've basically got two skaters who on potential could be 1 & 2 in terms of the absolute best, but we'll probably never see it, yet the level they are skating at right now, is still above most others.
caleb/max/cyrus/andrew - loved this part a lot. cranes & john cale probably make this the most johnny wilson style edit ever. huge fan of caleb, gotta remember he is only 20, and like 6 foot 5. dude will develop into into his own unique style in years to come. there's enough max and cyrus in there to get you aroused for the 917 video. the back truck on max's losi grind into to the bank is literally at 90 degrees. andrew's trick at 3rd and army is probably one of the best tricks ever done there. all that was missing in this section was one or tricks from antonio.
blake - really good skateboarder, sure, but this part didn't fit at all with the rest of the video. i feel like this part would be better suited to a ill conceived attempt at making a push for soty as a stand alone internet part. even the leonard cohen songs screams 'ill conceived soty push' i mean the sw flip sw bs tail is obviously fucked. malto's nollie flip fs 50-50 is equally as fucked, i feel. but yeah, did not fit at all.
overall, great video from nike. now it's over to adidas to atone for the heinous monstrosity that away days was.
