Politic 8.25/31.5/14.25
144 Reynolds Hollow
Loophole Teardrop

A brand new South Central deck is almost too steep for me but once they settle in they feel great (and will last me months.) I've had multiple decks with this shape recently but never measured the length on any of them, I was surprised it was 31.5 haha.

Ok

Thanks!

I’m on my 3rd straight pair of Legacy Slims. The sale section on the DC site used to be littered with them for under $40 (when you stacked deals) but there are just awful colorways available now.

They definitely dc’d a lot of the cw’s. Such a decent dunk alternative. Good flick, decent padding.

QUASI 8.25 Jake Johnson
Indy 149ti (w/cast baseplates, riptide pivot cups, aftermarket indy conical bushings)
SF F4 54mm conical full 99a
Swiss
Mob

Sk8 Hi lo Pro

EDIT:  the board has QUASI in raised letters and the paint on the letters is weird and soft and meant to come off faster...but it's kinda annoying, like when a board's paint flakes off instead of smears off
hardly art, hardly starving

Quasi 8.25
Thunder Ti Hollow Lite 148 hangers with Team Plates
Loophole 52mm, measure 50.8
Swiss 6
Thunder 7/8 hardware

This is the shape that tapers near the tail, but it’s flatter and less full than my FA. I was going to get a different Quasi 8.25 but now regret the swap since that one didn’t taper.

Milk had a board in 92 where the everslick said "Easysliders" and then an image from the movie Easy Rider painted over the slick so that when you bordslided enough, the image would go away and reveal the full "Easysliders" writing. I thought and still think that was awesome to the point I made it my nick name and avatar. Never had the deck though but my buddy had it and I was jealous. Remember when every Crailtap board would do that? I once gave away a skate mental board to a friend just so I wouldn't have to deal with it.

Buttfart said Doomsayers might now be on Clutch wood.  Anything like a stamp number and letter on top between the front bolts?  Could be  O 9  or  9  O going by the info, square shape in 8.5:

Ha! But it would go super fast on anything.  I wonder though, is it more a transition / big bowl setup or all rounder or what?

I know I have big wheels on my "go fast board" and smaller wheels on the more versatile tech setups.

Hit up Damon @ library skate shop. Talked to him yesterday and he said all his 8.25 proto are pink or purple (poor guy). Hes also just a good dude who takes the time to answer all my nerdy ass questions at length so I try to buy from him (or cornerstore, which is my other favorite non-local shop) whenever possible. Sometimes he throws in random shit like free socks or a loophole t shirt too which is always appreciated. He answers pretty quick on insta usually

It does, even if it was so cold that the bushings were hard as rock and my ankles are barely functional.

I really like this set up so far, but it might be a while ‘til I get to skate it again seeing as we have a snow storm going on right now.
