- 8.3"x31.9"x14.4" (II) Worrest Slick Twin Tail w/Mob M-80
- 8.25" Tensor Maglights (stock bushings, bones washers)
- 7/8" Shorty's lights bolts/misc nuts
- 53mm 99a Spitfire F4 Hijalte Cinder Lock-Ins
- Bones Swiss Six
Perfect. That's a slick?
Yep, Slick for easy slides and lock-ins / mag trucks for locked in lengthy grinds - I can't tell if it's a lazy set-up or smart...you know, work skate smarter not harder
No sir. Its utilizing what little technology we have to make it easier to land cooler stuff and in return, make it more enjoyable.
Im on a similar setup w trucks but 53 easy streets and a 8.5" dual tail. Im debating grabbing those wheels though. Question, when you let go of your tail and the front wheels make contact with the ground on tensors, do you notice its a different frequency than on Indys? Im going to test it with a rta cus Im going crazy in rain ans lockdown right now
Different frequency than on IndysTime or pitch? The Tensors do have a different overall feel due to being magnesium, stupid light of course and the grind/sound of your setup does taking a bit to get used too, but once you do, it's all gravy. It feels like cheating, especially when you are hauling ass. It makes cruising and slapping so effortless (fewer times getting pitched but it isn't flawless).
It's like running forged plates vs cast, you get different audible characteristics from your board. Cast is duller, more solid whereas forged is usually 'thinner', tinny and more 'hollow' sounding. Tensors fall into that 'forged' sounding category.
As for the wheels, I'm coming off radial slims for the past few days and I haven't really felt much of a 'lock-in' difference, surface area is nice as is the 99a vs 101a as I'm using this setup for 'cruising' street skating where I hit spots and move on.
